What does SP know , that we all don’t ? Still don’t understand why we have not splashed out on a recognised centre forward, after this length of time.

This list has relegation written all over it...

It's going to be an awfully long season.

Ffs there is another month before the transfer window shuts.

          What's with all this negativity?

Look at the list. No chance whatsoever in the EPL and Pace is now residing in Barcelona.

I've also said it a few times times already BT, as it stands we have no chance of staying up.

We have nothing up front. I fail to see where the goals are coming from. It won't be Foster. His scoring record to date tells us that.

I also agree with what you said on the other post, we're also in need of 2 decent midfielders for this level and have a lot of players that need to be moved on.

Its not negativity. It’s called being realistic. Don’t you think that if there was a proven striker on the way in, he would have been walking along Brunshaw Road by now ? If only to get used to the place, and his new team mates etc. This problem of goalscoring isn’t exactly something that’s just happened. It has surrounded the club since long before SP arrived here. There must be someone out there who would relish the opportunity of at least one season in the top flight. If there isn’t, our scouts ought to get the sack ,for not fulfilling their job description.
Go on, tell me and everyone else on this message board, that the problem will be sorted in the next few weeks. I dare you.

Me and sinkov agree on one thing, we fly by the seats of our pants and someday soon Pace's luck will run out. Stan's blind man on a galloping horse can see we simply have to buy a decent centre-forward and a couple of midfielders but not one rumour to be heard.

I am saying just be patient has there is another month to go before the window closes.

                    You are the nieve one.
By your above comments you would think world class strikers grow on trees and you can pick them up for a few quid.

I've got news for you. We won't be signing a world class striker, because we don't have the 50 milly, minimum required, and most certainly can't afford his salary.

We will be waiting until late in the window to hopefully pick up some quality scraps. Fingers crossed they come off, if not back down to the championship 😉

20,000 people who watch our great team week in week out ,are not naive. But they are realistic.
How much patience does everyone need to endure.? This is a long running problem which has yet to be solved. We may yet be watching and waiting for scraps to appear on our Premiership plate. Players contracts are usually renewed after June, when a lot of them expire and players become free agent, to go where they like. Well,to me it appears that none of these players ,are taking a liking ,to our mill town in East Lancashire.
Your last paragraph sums it up. At least you and the rest of us out here, think the outcome will be the sam, come next May. I will be patient over the next few weeks - I have no choice.
Strangely enough, I quite enjoy the championship. Mainly because VAR hasn?t ruined it yet.
Do you think Pace wants to have a chance of proving everyone wrong and staying up this season ? The next 4 weeks will give you and me a fair idea of what the answer will be.

I like Foster and you have to remember he?s only 24 so can still improve. He was a kid when he first played for Orlando Pirates (who we played a couple of weeks ago) and back then was touted then as one of the best young players in the world - there?s potential he may yet achieve.
He has the talent if Parker can bring it out.

Add Cajuste, Johnstone & Sargant to the squad and we have a chance, if not we are gone. One thing is for certain we have the right quality of players to defend but we are threadbare in midfield and up top.

Now Pace has been Barcelonafied will he even give a $hit about Burnley?

Our American quarterback has been dreaming of running a club for quite a while?
