Army88 keeps going on about the mindset of the team, I reckon a proper sports psychologist might help the team (not army88!)

We have 8 or 9 players that would get into most EPL teams so it's not quality we are short on.

    Dyche would sort it.

Only sides those 8 or 9 players would get into are in the bottom 3.

Walker, Dubravka, Esteve, Hartman, Big Les & Luis, Edwards, Flemming & Mejbri are all good enough for the EPL, Tchaouna & Cullen are not far behind.

Why have we not got more points on the board?

Walker would walk in to my best ever Burnley FC starting 11. Esteve would not be far behind either. I suggest it's the way Parker sets the team up is the reason we are not edging games. It will be the same story tomorrow, of that I'm sure.

Foster and Hannibal have to start and Ewards has to be given at least 30mins but this will mean little if our approach does not change.
If possession remans thebe all and end all I can't see when we willwin another game.

I think if we are all honest we can see the outline plan to try and stay in games and hope we will / do get chances at some point.

The difference in quality of opposing teams has risen ten fold though ( it’s not the championship anymore ) and when we get a smidgin of a chance ( as Ballcock says ) we don’t have the quality to execute and score.

Chelsea last week prime example worked an opportunity and took it - game over for us as Parker went negative anyway and when we eventually did decide to push on a bit they exploited it again and nicked second goal.

We had Anthony through twice and loum in the first half but they wanted a lifetime to finish ( regardless of the refs crap interlude ).

I’ve said all along to play the strongest 11 to start regardless if we’re good enough collectively, the links in the chain are there but we have no / very little finished product hence why Bt says we’re in games but can’t stay in them.

Lastly Parker - please please please stop telling the players it’s ok to lose to quality sides - it’s NOT.

Got to take issue with you on this one army88, "We had Anthony through twice and loum in the first half but they wanted a lifetime to finish ( regardless of the refs crap interlude )".

The Chelsea defender read the pair of them brilliantly to snuff out the danger, his pace and long legs were just a bit too much for two journeyman Championship quality wingers. In there lies the problem.

Bt if Anthony hadn’t tried to get the ball on his other foot and just shot he’d have worked the keeper or scored but he didn’t he wanted a lifetime to shoot ( twice ).

                    Loums was good defending agreed

Loum is a young French international footballer who if he applies himself has a decent future in the game - Anthony needs a rest as he’s offering nothing imo offensively anyway ,

If you don’t shoot and work the keeper you won’t score - Anthony wanted an eternity the opposition in this league don’t allow that.

I think in different ways we are both saying the same thing mate, I agree with your comments Loum but Anthony is miles off it, however, he is one of Parkers go-to players. I think JBL is a million times more potent.

JBL lacks pace but he puts a shift in and puts away a shot when given the opportunity.
When JBL does play he makes it easier for Walker to bomb on because he covers him with purpose, not half heartedly like Anthony

JBL epitomises what an intelligent footballer should be like. Pity he doesn't have Bellingham's physique or skillset, I wonder if we could clone and combine the two of them?

If I’m being brutally honest BL and Anthony aren’t fit to lace Hannibal’s boots - his discipline issue aside you only have to watch them to see the difference- last week the man of match Brazil Tunisia was Hannibal - the write up I read said he was instrumental in the performance

He bosses it against Brazil but can’t get a game at Burnley

The thing for me is that Anthony and JBL are decent players it’s just at this level they’re not delivering anything - however I can’t help but think that Parker has the brakes on them.

Can’t remember the last time either of them went at their full backs to commit them and create a chance for Fleming or foster.

They spend all their time going sideways or backwards as it’s comfortable for them.

Hannibal however his first thought is how can we / go forwards and commit people ( it doesn’t work all the time of course and in some ways we could be. Stifling Hannibal when he actually gets on through a lack of ambition.

Away at wolves showed me the way to play a player willing to run in beyond centre backs and full backs made the run and a comfortable on the ball with forward thinking thoughts laid the perfect weight pass into his path to win us the game

                            Chalk and cheese for me.

Parker needs to sort out the personnel and positions they play in.

I live streamed the Brazil v Tunisia game army88, Hannibal was so good the Brazilians resorted to constantly fouling him. I kept on thinking some European outfit with big bucks will be in for him and soon.

Wtf was Hannibal doing when he dived in the box? If the little prick had have kept on his feet he might have scored
