The Palace game is of enormous importance now. Lose and it's P45 time.

We really need to pick up 4 points from the home games v Crystal Palace and Fulham. I still have confidence in Scott Parker but his team need to start delivering.

Premierleague or Championship , he'll still be here next season.

If the natives get restless he's a goner, but social media polls today suggest he has around a 70% vote in his favour from Clarets fans.

            I'm in the 30%.

Fulham on the 13th is the critical one for me, they haven't won down t' Turf since the 50s, if we get nowt against them it could be the end for Scotty. I can't see us getting anything against Palace or Newcastle

Don't get this dumb blind loyalty from some Burnley fans, with the right management team we can still turn this round. We really have to give it a go and not just throw the towel in on another premier league season.

We made the mistake last time when we didn't pot Kompany before xmas to give ourselves a chance, lets hope we have learnt something

I don’t agree that the loyalty is altogether dumb or blind bc. Parker still has credit for the way he achieved promotion last season. I think a lot of fans are going to look at the way the team plays over the remaining fixtures this year and also wait to see what moves we make in the January window.

Parker sets his side out with caution not to conceed, and we are conceding 2/3 goals a game, that tells me that what he is doing isn't working.
I seriously doubt that he has the ability to change things at this level, as he didnt previously at Fulham or Bournemouth when they were in a similar position

I have backed Parker 100% from day 1 until now. I think that he has taken us as far as he can, and that a change is necessary if we are to give ourselves any hope of survival

Our survival hope lies in our midfield 5 who hold the keys to our survival and that is were Parker is looking clueless, they just sit deep get in each others way and contribute nothing offensively or defencivly. Big Les doesn't make the surging runs. Florentino and Cullen just play sidewards passes and are to alike. The 3 just get in each others way and play with little purpose

I agree with BC as I have always thought from day 1 that Cardy is a nice chap but has hisd limitations.I dont blame him for the current situation. It is all down to the owners and their hopeless recruitment team.Just looking at our signings and the signings for Sunderland-worlds apart and we are supposed to be the team with lots of PL experience...

BT , so am I. He has a lot to do to convince me we?re heading in the right direction. A lot. I cannot believe the majority is as much as 70?/.

Tbf ballcock that’s true you have backed him from the get go - I on the other hand did not

However in his defence he did a reasonable job to get us promoted in his first season.

My thing was it was built on defence which is fine but as I said was boring when I felt we could have won more games and the league in truth.

However we are where we are now and his tactical make up and systems simply do t work at this level imo ( I’m no uefa badge coach ) so professionally none of us are qualified to criticise the man.

We are in trouble though as we persist in the same groove and I think like you that a change would be best for us instead of going down in a whimper.

No club in the entire Premier League has a worse defensive record in any quarter-hour segment of games from 0-15, 16-30, 31-45, 46-60, 61-75 and 76-90 than us in the final 15 minutes. Soft centred or what?

Sheriff Dingle knows more about what's going on at Turf Moor than Alan Nixon and the rest of this board put together. If he says Scotty will still be here next season, that's good enough for me.
