Broja, Flemming, JBL, Edwards, Ugochukwu, Florentino, Tchauma, Sonne, Walker, Humphreys, Hartman, Anthony, Tuanzebe , and Dubravka.
Of all those only Walker and Dubravka show signs of belonging in the PL-sorry but that is the truth on the evidence so far.The recruitment team spunked nearly ?100m on that lot and the only two worth a mention were ?7m between them.Unbelievable.
We really are in deep dodo and if we go down the majority of that lot will be off like a shot ir sulking like our €18m Mike Tresor.Jesus wept who recruited the feckin recruitment team?

The problem with that / us is that players need to be up to speed in the best / most biased league in the world.

Some players need a system and a job to
Flourish - Ugochukwu is a decent player - Loum is a young man with a future. ( we payed by today’s standards not much money ) but he’s expected to perform day one

Hartman is another who’s an accomplished player. But I believe our system doesn’t help him.

Florentino was at benfica and is also a v good player but I think as I’ve said for weeks that the central 3 are all too similar ( doesn’t make him a bad player ).

I’d have kept Koleosho tbh as width is / has become an issue ( we don’t threaten teams enough.)

Whilst we’re on players Foster can’t get a game and or Hannibal - I’m afraid it’s Parker’s set up that strangles us in games.

Professional athletes on 50k/week should already be up to speed Army or up to speed within a month of arriving-it is now December.I personally think like you it is the system Cardy is employing and the fact that the team has not been balanced enough for a long time now.SD never had a strong midfield and we complained about it.For 2 seasons now we have not had a strong attacking force.Even the defence has become leaky.I cannot remember the last time the team looked to have a good balance throughout.

Exactly what is Parker’s remit at Burnley Football Club?

It’s well documented Sean Dyche had a hand on just about everything that went on during his time with the Clarets. It is now conclusively apparent that Parker does not have the same authority and autonomy that Dyche enjoyed.

          • Player recruitment is a shambles.
          • Our set piece coach must be on a permanent holiday.
          • Long-term injuries are off the chart.
          • The fitness coaches seem to not understand games last over 90 minutes.
          • Does Parker understand the benefits of Sports Psychology?
          • Why are we bullied so easily?

Two more losses this week will surely put his job on the edge. Can he turn it around?

I'm sick of his bull$hit, I really am.

After a good start, I am finding a case to disagree about these two, especially Walker. He falls asleep at times and personally wish Roberts is a potential starter/challenger. Walker made blips for England similar and recently?

Every transfer window we see the big teams spending 100 million + on one player.

Either those clubs are wasting money or the players are superior quality.

Burnley is a small, unpopular and unwelcome member of the PL. we cannot afford 100 million + on one player, but the players we can afford are expected by some to be just as good. That will never be the case.

SD took us to 7th and Europe. He was blessed with Ashley and Chris upfront with McNeil and Roberts putting in crosses that they could feed off. SD showed that you can compete despite the economic differences.

I acknowledge that the quality in the PL is probably higher now, but it is clear that we have lost that attacking impetus in the current set up. So far, I think that Walker has put in one good ball this season. On the left there is nothing. Both Foster and Fleming need service. I guess Broja is the same.

And by the way, what has happened to Amdouni?

Amdouni is still recovering from his ACL injury sustained pre-season. He was expecting to stat running again towards the end of November and seeing how things develop from there. He didn't know that he had sustained the injury at the time. Very sad and he just wants to play again.

Hartman has played in a couple of killer balls which Flemming put away. Against Chelsea for instance, crosses came in but we had no-one following in for the tap-ins.

We really could do with an apex goal predator, a "Fox in the Box", but so could loads of other teams.

No point in having a striker if we don't have creators.

The wide men since around game 5 have been absymil and the midfield 3 just don't do enough offensively to make us get up the field and create chances. Don't get me going about the lack of goals and threat from Esteve and the other mon on corners. We literally look like we are going to conceed against the top sides from our own corners, it's embarrassing and needs addressing

We reportedly brought in a specialist set-piece coach to sort out the defensive and offensive action on corners. I wonder if we are actually paying him?

You can have the best coaches in the world, but if you don't have the personal to execute the orders, it's a waste of money

Being able to clear the first man at a corner would help.

Florentino. Watched him a few times now and he offers little, wins the odd ball and then can't wait to get rid with a simple square short pass. To be successful at this level you have to have far more in your locker. Ugochukwu is another but a far more talented player than Florentino who is wasted at Burnley. Parker doesn't know how to get a tune out of him

Parker couldn't get a tune out of my harmonica.
