  • Fat Sam please ?

A few have asked who should we get as they’re all getting rid of SP.

My suggestion is Fat Sam - he’ll sort it out not everyone’s cup of tea but I think he’d have long enough to instal his tactics - he’d sort out the deadwood and get 1-2 in I think - we’d be a different team under him.

    Thoughts ?

Most of you will poo poo that but Sinkov always asks for a name and mine is the ring.

Some say keep him on, let him get us relegated and then give him until xmas 2026

Can you imagine that by then the fans would have left in their thousands and season ticket sales down to Rovers levels, and do you honestly think a Surrey based Parker would actually still be at the club, he might by then be looking for a way out with a London championship side

The only way is to get shut this month and find a temp until May who gets a wad bonus if he keeps us up, followed by a 3 year contract.
I honestly believe that another can get a better tune out of this squad and that their is still hope but not with Scotty, unfortunately

Warnock once said in an interview that he had always wanted to manage Burnley but being a Yorkshireman he thought it was unlikely to happen.

Get Klopp in. Let?s see if he?s as good as what they think he is. What a challenge this job would be for him. Let?s see if he could motivate players further down the scale.

Couldn’t agree more ballcock - I think fat Sam would sort it in that time scale if we have the players he’d make

It work as he knows the league and what has to be done

He may not want the gig full time anyway

I like you though am sure it needs changing sooner than later.

I dont think Fat Sam would want the job once he saw the squad available and I doubt there are sufficient funds available to bring in the type of players he would want.
I reckon Pace has no choice but to stick with Cardy.Yesterday in the presser he said Pace is rock solid behind him.Famous last words maybe.

Pace should realise how lucky he got with Kompany, and use his 10 million pounds compensation to sack Scott and fund someone else.

If a new man came in and got more from a couple of players, (even if we got relegated) this would add to their value and go towards compensating the cost of an odd new player, it would also go to paying off Cardy and his staff

Kompany's exit fee went to pay off loan interest. We will not get so lucky with Parker.

Off course the Kompany money went towards cost we all know that, and it must have been a welcome bonus

We'll get nowt for Parker but if we want to make a fight of staying up we need to make changes and fast. Parker's post match interview was extremely honest, and he more or less said he has taken this lot has far as he can

I listened to Parker's after match press conferance on Wednesday, he sounded like a defeated man.

My wife who does not have a bad word for anyone said he needs putting out of his misery. She also said its a shame Bellamy is not free to come back because of his Welsh commitments. Hard to disagree with her really.

I have to agree with you BT Bellamy would have been my choice when Kompany left. Was it he was offered the Wales managers job and took it or that he didn't get offered the Burnley Managers job, so took the Wales managers job instead of the uncertainty of working for Kompany's replacement.
