Only about 6 sides in Spain good enough for the Premier league, they just don't have the physicality to compete in a competitive league like we have.
Messi wouldn't have been the player he was if he had to play in a league like the Premier league, he only played a dozen hard games a season our top lads play 50.
The English pyramid system is envied world wide, it is the best and nothing else is anywhere near it

Very bold statement that BT, Real Madrid Second Team are only 4th in their division in Spanish football and that is the third division --Primera Federacion 1.Originally posted by The Bedlington Terrier View PostThe Real Madrid third team would piss League 1, this blind patriotic sentiment is bonkers.
Their 3rd team (actually their Second Reserves team) plays in Segunda Federacion Group 5 and are currently in 14 th place in a league containing 18 teams.
I really think that you have done a disservice to League One players, in fact, you could probably include League Two in that.

I remember him at Clitheroe, he wasn't there long and if I remember right he wasn't even a regular starter, he usually came off the bench. It was no big deal at the time, academy players from Championship clubs are ten a penny at Clitheroe's level.
