  • Bornemouth 4-4

After watching a 4-4 game tonight we’re in real trouble Saturday - Bournemouth are a very slick unit going forwards especially/- hope I’m wrong but against our switch off team we’ll get murdered.

    Semenyo and Evanilson - Kluivert

    Are a proper handful

    Oh dear.

Sean knew how to win league games against The Cherries.
P10 W6 D2 L2 F20 A10 Pts 20 that was when we had a team playing to its strngths and really could defend.

Going to be tough on Saturday. The home fans will be demanding a big score line and baying for blood, after Parker walked out on them

Different proposition these lot though Sub.

If we could show a bit of heart though I?d be happy.

I've always liked the way Bournemouth play under this manager. I can't see us getting anything there.

No reason to think our usual failings will not be present today. Been plenty of time to drill our squad and it’s not happening. Tbh I don’t know how we beat Sunderland, same with Leeds to a lesser degree. Hope we are all wrong……

Yep, usual mistake, how did Laurent finish up on his backside? Panic perhaps.
JBL and Anthony were beyond poor, their better replacements set up the draw.

We are not coherent- in sync or with shape or purpose at all Dave - a rudderless ship was my description before and at this game exactly the same - I don’t know what’s happening but players are playing as they have been out of positions- constantly making same mistakes - I don’t care what Parker says about improving we constantly give the opposition chances - we let ball delivered into our box - the wide men just become defenders of sorts - they almost just go through motions ( without any real threat going forwards ).

We constantly let runners go as if it’s someone else’s job ( looking at each other ) I’ve never seen a nicer bunch of lads - in every team I’ve played in if I let runners go or didn’t compete ( I didn’t ) my team mates would have been at me at half time a fight would ensue- that is not made up either.

I just don’t see that in us people are allowed to get away with murder and told it’s alright because they’re better than you.

No no no no - it’s not acceptable my failing is I like Parker as a man and he says the right things but reality is physiologically and practically we don’t have a settled team and people are not doing their jobs and until we get a leader who lays down the shape -,tactic and instruction that gets us playing like it matters we’ll continue in the same cycle.

Anyone who watched yesterday knows we got away with one they should have been out of site before we even got near their goal

I can accept not being good enough and losing if we are in games and you could argue Bournemouth are a established club - I think beyond the big 6 if we aren’t in games and I mean really in games we are destined for the drop.

Sadly and I hate to say it I’m still firmly in a Parker out - not because I don’t like him but because it’s dire and you all know that but we’re almost as bad accepting it without a fight.

Players from Burnley - I love it here the dressing room is so welcoming and together all smiles and laughter.

Comparison Farke at Leeds v Man City half time speech - players scuffles and a few home truths delivered- Leeds a different team with purpose

I’m for giving someone 20 games and a half chance of survival than going down like a toothless team.

I agree with you Army and with the opinion that Parker is out of his depth at this level. He isn't capable of turning this crap season around, and that sadly it is just a repeat of the last under Kompany.

I also believe that we have a better squad than last time and that Parker isn't capable of getting the best from what is at his disposal, so must go

I also don't think Pace will sack him, as he doesn't have the time and resources to babysit a new manager and his team, due to his commitments in Spain

Supervise a realistic crack at a Champions League spot in Barcelona or hang around Burnley waiting for another relegation? No brainer really is it?
