Expecting this thread to be full of doom, gloom and plenty of despondency

When I'm halfway through the bottle of Glenmorangie I got for Christmas Alfie, I don't think I will be full of doom, gloom and despondency. UTC# First home game I have missed this season.

A jammy deflection to score and we then two cleared off the line.

I prefer being on the Turf, I can see too much detail on the tele!

Too much room offered to Casemiro and Fernandez in the last 10 mins. Conceding too many corners and worrying times. Could do with an extra bod midfield (please not JBL). Hannibal another needless yellow and another worry.

Is it me or did we run it into corners at the end for a point

He?s a muppet - so much space in midfield for opposition

Commentator says just admire Fernandez pass - the time he had I?d have made that pass in my 50s

We?re doomed - as for the negative Hannibal comments we were a weaker team when he went off

              Parker OUT.

I think that Hannibal was unlucky to get booked. That type of diving happens every match and goes unpunished. Yet he gets carded. From one angle it did look like Casemiro made contact.

Is Hannibal the only one who has heard of pressing. Everyone else, in the main, retreated when Man Ewe were on the ball. The Freedom of the Turf! I think that they must practice running backwards a lot. It seems like the greatest skill for some.

Evidently walking and running backwards helps relieve achey knees and is good for the brain. I just heard about that this week.
I also agree about Hannibal's caution, it was not an out and out dive and I thought that there was contact on his foot.

I?d be happy if players got booked in those situations, but it needs to be done in all similar situations, and that?s not the case.

Well few of our players will have bad knees and will challenge Einstein with the amount of back-peddling that goes on.

It amazes me when I watch other PL teams. They press in pairs - one to challenge, the other to pick up the loose ball. With us Hannibal presses whilst all his team mates back pedal to the safety of our own box.

I am willing to put money on the fact that, if it were the other way round, Casemiro would not have been booked for diving and Hannibal would have been booked for the challenge.

Sorry guys,Hannibal dived and deserved his booking, absolutely no need for it.

I hate diving, alfin but how often do you see players punished for it, let alone be booked? Very rarely and yet Hannibal is booked.

My other point is that if it were the other way round, I doubt that Casemiro would be booked for diving - more likely that Hannibal would be booked for the non-contact.

In truth I really don’t care if he did touch him or didn’t it’s in the game sadly they are all at that.

The point being for me he’s a better footballer than 2/3 rds of the team and we are a much better team with him in it his faults apart - why has he not played more - Edwards identical scenario

Too much favouritism from our manager to some
More favouritism from Var and the league / referees against us

It doesn’t matter how it’s described it happens to us every week.

Hannibal, Edwards and Humphreys would be my first three names on the team sheet but Parker just does not see it.
