Bit like the curate’s egg - good in parts with some good individual performances. Walker got a couple of good crosses in and we did show some attacking intent, with Edwards particularly looking to get forwards. Still question marks over why some players start ahead of others. Broya didn’t win a single header and had two one on ones and messed up both. Foster a far better option. He causes defences far more problems. Florentino gets caught in possession too often and is not quick thinking.
I think that is about it for us, short of a miracle.

Another good point on paper but Spuds were there for the taking after we scored our second. We changed personel and Laurent and Hannibal continually gave the ball away in our own half.Broja should have scored at least one of his one on ones.
However we need 3 points not one and Cardy is incapable of putting games to bed.I wonder how many of these players will be in our Championship starting eleven come August.

I agree CiB. I love Hannibal?s energy and commitment but he lacks ball control. For the life of me I do not know why he persists with Broja. He can?t hold up the ball, he doesn?t make runs and he doesn?t score.Originally posted by ClaretinBudapest View PostAnother good point on paper but Spuds were there for the taking after we scored our second. We changed personel and Laurent and Hannibal continually gave the ball away in our own half.Broja should have scored at least one of his one on ones.

Our recruitment policy seems to me is to go for players that have fallen by the wayside at their current club and hope they somehow come good for us.Its pathetic. We are now in for James Ward Prowse as he has fallen by the wayside at West Spam.Originally posted by Swissclaret View PostI agree CiB. We never seem to go for players that are on an upward trajectory, in form and who could possibly make an immediate impact.

We are once again punished for receding into our final third after substitutions.Originally posted by alfinyalcabo View PostCome on you Clarets, let's have some attacking football today whatever the score..
Parker left Anthony on and took Edwards off when Anthony was already finished - they went past him like he wasn?t there ( he also ducked every header and every tackle in the whole game - ridiculous).
I e had it with Parker and his tactics we are so slow and laboured we want an eternity to shoot at goal -
Tbf at least todays game was relatively entertaining
Pointless bringing Hannibal on when everyone else is spent , he needs players that are going in behind - Florentino Gabe the ball away numerous times today and tuanzebe so slow in our own box
I e said this before but we are just too nice Van der vin
( w - nket) wanted a good old 50-50 60-40 and rouging up imo but we?re just not worldly at all - set pieces stand on his toes upset him.
IMO Parker threw away a home win today through his lack of tactical knowledge and basically ignoring what everyone else in the ground could see.
Disappointed in Broja today as well not convinced he actually genuinely tried to win anything.
So reality is we played with 9 players starting
Shocking.

Obviously we don't practice going one on one against a keeper, but why is Broja starting before Foster in the first place. Even I in freezing MN knew from the few Spurs highlights I've seen that Romero was the danger man at corners and why he was not tightly marked at corners I don't know. A good chance to get 3pts gone. I agree with Army, Edwards should never be substituted unless he asks to be for some reason.

By far the most entertaining match I?ve been able to see this season. Did Parker tell us fall deep at the end or were we just too tired to push out? Walker improved massively from last game.
I was telling the TV to put Hannibal on but was really disappointed when he got on. He was just jogging around giving the ball away and hitting the ground. Didn?t look interested at all. And I don?t understand how we?re not better at defending corners.

It wasn't the attackers who let us down it was poor defending and sitting to deep when we went 2 up.
Why was Odebert given so much space to attack down our left? The managers defensive structure should surly come into question over this. The Spurs lad was unmarked for the 2nd and if Spurs have had been sharper they would have had 5 or 6, against our piss poor defence.
Can't believe our poor at the back we have been this season after how well we defended last
Sunderland have scored less goals than us and have 15 pts more, let that be food for thought
I don't see the point in Ugochukwa and Florentino, all they do is sit on top of the 3 centre halfs, get under the feet and play sidewards passes, neither of them playing their present roles are fit for purpose.
I was at the match on Saturday and I honestly thought we were pish poor against a pish poor Tottenham side, who could have won by 3 clear goals but for Dubravka
