Looks to me that we are already getting shut of some dead wood in preparation for the summer clear out. Rumours are that Ekdal is off to Germany, we should get a decent fee for him

I am sure that Anthony is a really nice person so I wish him no ill whatsoever. This a player who always has a smile on his face, even when he screws up - which I find a bit strange.
But 25 million? Has the football world finally lost its mind?
Good luck to ALK if they can get that money for him.

Wolves have accepted their fate but managed to get 40 plus million for a so called star - can?t see it myself but hey it happens.Originally posted by The Bedlington Terrier View PostI am seriously considering shutting this thread down. Relegation is already nailed on so no more point in discussing it.
Only question now is can Wolves catch us?
I honestly thought Parker would have gone this morning and I could renew my season ticket but no on it goes the saga of blind leading the blind.

They can't afford to sack him, it would cost money that we haven't got.Originally posted by army88 View PostWolves have accepted their fate but managed to get 40 plus million for a so called star - can?t see it myself but hey it happens.

Fans wanted change from the old regime and they got what they wanted. Chairman went, manager got the sack and then things looked up for one season under VK in the Championship. Since then it has been downhill with relegation followed by gaining promotion with a team which fans continued to moan about and then this season's relegation. The five year plan seems to have given us one good season in which we were playing decent football and got promoted, three managers plus one temporary one, lots of different coaches etc., loads of changes off the field, particularly relating to ground access etc.
I have to say that I used to be a regular at games until Sean got the sack, however, I have only made the 300 mile round trip once since he was shown the door and that was in VK's first season when we played a night game against Oxford and I noticed quite a number of changes and didn't enjoy the evening, in spite of our win.
