  • Ward-Prowse

Hopefully will do a good job 4 us for the rest of the season. I think we are doomed to relegation but at least we can try and pick up some much needed wins.

He will come off the bench against Arsenal for his debut.

If this was the start of the season ,I might have got excited. Like all loans the only person to benefit will be the player himself. He’ll get match fit, could be playing regularly, and will be in the Premier League Shop Window for a while, which will give him a chance to show everyone he can still do it at the top level. I hope I am pleasantly surprised, but it appears that it’s too little, too late.

I think hell play Mal because we havent controlled midfield in games since Cullen crocked however Cardy could have him schooled in sideways and backwards in a breath and hell adopt the Cullen role quickly. will Florentino miss out do we think or maybe hell drop Edwards to the bench to keep Hannibal company AGAIN ( BOTH OF WHICH SHOULD BE PLAYING ).

ITS NOT FOR ME - I REALLY CANT DEAL WITH PARKER AND HIS ANTICS - FRUSTRATION

good luck to Ward Prowse - the hammers fans slated him though slightly worrying

Cullen's injury means we are short of numbers, it would be crazy to dismantle the midfield to install a loan player.

He looks like a replacement for Cullen, so if Cullen would be playing, and I suspect he would, then WP should be in his place. Just how good is he these days though, has he gone downhill or is it just that Nuno Santo doesn't fancy him for whatever reason ? And from what I've seen of him, although he has a good range of passes, he is basically yet another backwards and sideways man.

I remember us playing against him when he was with Southampton, he's a tad lightweight physically but has a good range of forward passes and is very good with free-kicks and corners. I'd prefer Brownhill any day of the week and twice on a Sunday.

With respect Bt the midfield hasnt really been together at all imo anyway - they retreat too quickly - concede possession and invite teams onto our defence

if ward prowse cant improve on that - there really was no point in him coming

you see we have hannibal who can do that job but parker cant get him to do what he wants id guess so he doesnt play him

i was being facetious in my throw away comment re parker keeping florentino and lesley on the pitch and benching Edwards again to accommodate Wp

seriously no point him coming if he isnt going to try and play him ( not 10 minutes either )

Whenever I have seen him for various clubs and country I was never impressed, too weak. I think he is not what we want in a relegation battle. I will enjoy being wrong on this.

Totally pointless signing in my opinion. We are going down and he isn't going to change that,it's too late. His wages until the end of the season will be over £1m and we have no option to buy him.The money could be better spent at the end of the end of the season when
we completely re-jig the squad for next season in the Championship.

It's being reported that we are paying around 2m for his loan period!

I think you are getting confused with Dyche

Sounds about right. West Ham are paying 30% of his 130k p/week salary and us the rest until the end of June.

We certainly need an extra midfielder to play in the 3. Lets hope he can bring something to Florentino and Ugochukwa game, as the pair of them look bloody weary
