Team out and Army88 love child is leading the attack, lets hope its goals galore

Good to see Flemming on the bench

I agree b-c. Cardy sticking with the same formation.

I think that Foster is a better pick than Broja. My concern is that Foster is good at pulling defenders out of position but we don’t have a Brownhill in midfield who will get into box to use the space unless Anthony is awake - not always evident.

I have us down to lose. I hope that I am wrong.

Anyone at The Turf on 23 September 1978? Sunderland had two players sent off in the first half when it was 0-0. Gary Rowell scored two in the second half, for them, before we pulled one back. Lost 2-1 at home to 9 men!

Not my love child ballcock just think he gets unfair criticism on here.

Anyway we?re officially garbage up to this point

The midfield is Al over the place and we are yards off the pace - too many passengers again I?m afraid and no wi to win.

Reminds me of spurs away first game.

Playing like a team of poofs (sorry any Lgbters) Esteve Edwards and Foster are pathetic. Total crap this could be any score.

Sunderland’s vocabulary ? get forward ?, ? attack ?. Burnley - ? go sideways ? and ? what do we do now? ?. Appalling performance.

Am I the only one who can’t understand why Walker is playing. Twice he got the ball with no one in front of him. Rather than going down the wing to attack he played sideways. Then we get a free kick. Everyone goes forward and he plays it sideways. WTF!

F off Parker it?s amateur at best he?s clueless or they?re taking the Mick out of him - we really don?t know how to set up and compete.

We play like we are winning and we?re giving them so much space in the middle of the park it?s embarrassing to watch

We moan about Florentino on here and Hannibal but at least they try and make a tackle - Florentino looks to me like he actually gives a ****.

Unless we are going to compete for headers don?t kick it in the air ( should o actually have to say that ).

I can?t disagree with you tonight, Lancs. Appalling. A relegated team playing like a relegated team.

We are doomed, whoever assembled this squad must have no idea about EPL football and should be fired. SP strolling along the touch line as though nothing was amiss. Morale is sinking rapidly; nothing ever changes backwards and sideways rules the roost. Ridiculous set pieces, even the commentator could see how ineffective our game was "good at keeping possession but to no effect". How some level of confidence can be restored I can't imagine. It's going to be a painful if not disastrous rest of the season.

I had to turn off the match after 80 minutes-something I have not done as long as I can remember. We cannot even do the very basics and the vaunted set-piece coach needs outing first thing as we are a laughing stock at free kicks and corners.
Not a shot on target. You can accept getting beat by teams are better than you if you can see effort, application and some tactical nous but I see none of that.Cardy should have been gone last October - he doesn?t even know his best starting eleven in February.Clueless.
I wonder what the broken record of excuses will be."Young team? ,"some are experiencing this for the first time? etc, etc.We were never at the races from the first minute and Sunderland showed everything that we are lacking.Good luck to them as they have a good manager and a great team spirit.
We are going down with a whimper. The Hungarian pundits said the dross Cardy puts out would not be good enough for the Championship never mind the PL and sadly its true.
If BT thinks we will get a return of 80-100m from the fire sale of these duds this summer and that afterwards we wil be promotion material from the Championship with Cardy at the helm then he needs his head testing.
