  • Stags in the Cup.

The Clarets have a break from the demands of the EPL and take on the Stags at Turf Moor in the 4th Round of the FA Cup. Kicks off Saturday 14th February at 15.00.

A decent Cup run might be just the sort of tonic Burnley Football Club needs, but word is Mansfield Town and their fans expect a bit of a FA Cup upset.

Will Scott Parker pick his strongest team? Would Clarets fans rather forget the Cup and concentrate on the EPL?

It's Score Predictor time. Will the Clarets progress to the 5th Round? I'm not expecting another Valentines Day massacre but still expect us to edge it.

    Your thoughts please.

I don't care about the score or the performance, this miserable season needs a Cup run to make it slightly more tolerable. Just feckin WIN !!!!!

My one and only concern sinkov is how great will the squad decimation be come June? I suspect the squad will be sold piecemeal and off we will need to go again.

No doubt some will be offloaded but who would command the initial fees paid?

You will be surprised that when push comes to shove, we shall be able to scrape a few bob together to knock a new side into shape

Put out our strongest side today.Other than a miracle we are relegated so treat the Cup as a way of generating a bit
of money because we are going to need it when the summer comes.Be interesting to see what sort of side we are
going to be able to muster for next season.

Play the B team and the under 21’s because that will be all that is left come August.

Looking at the line up I expect us to get beat 1-2 today.

It's a bit of a ragbag up top, but it should still be capable of winning.

                        That aged well Sinky.
Gutless, clueless bunch of mercenaries led by a numpty.Unbelievably bad again against a mid-table League One outfit.Surely they have to sack him now.
We hardly created anything and the finishing-I could do better.

I wonder what the excuses will be today. He cant use"We knew it would be tough” against a mid-table League One outfit. He cant use “We are a young team” after playing our OAP as a striker. He cant use “It is psychological” after a win in mid-week.
Why doesn’t he just admit he is feckin clueless as is the recruitment team and the set-piece coach.

Why am I not surprised? Mansfield had nothing to lose but a League One outfit? WTF.

All the goodwill from the win at Crystal Palace thrown away in 90 underwhelming minutes. We should have started with our strongest eleven. Nothing to show for this season as relegation will still follow.
