  • Tonight, the UEFA Super Cup Final - Spurs are playing!

Just realised that our Saturday opponents play tonight in the highly prestigious UEFA Super Cup Final.
    Wednesday 13 Aug 2025
PSG versus Tottenham Hotspur kick off 20:00.
For some daft reason this year's UEFA Super Cup will be held at Udinese's 25,000-seater stadium, Stadio Friuli.
Can't say I'm unhappy about this fixture because with the travel and the game the Tottenham players will be a little more tired than they want to be. Extra time and penalties anyone?

Last thing they need before the start of a new season. If they fly back straight after the match as I think most do, they won't be getting to bed until 4am

To be Frank I hope they have a really bad time of it.

They make a fuss about everything these top clubs and players, this won't help them, it'll prey on their minds, whether it will prey on their minds enough to tip the result in our favour is another matter though.

I'm a Doubting Thomas and I think they will be on a private jet straight back to a 5 Star hotel in London.

They’ll need to come back on a cross channel dinghy to get straight in at a 5 star hotel.

The BBC’s gushing praise of TF is already getting on my tits:

“Frank is enthralled by details. His attention to the smallest of tactical specifics has already surprised members of the team and, even in largely meaningless pre-season friendlies, his tactical clipboard has stayed close to hand.”

*******s to that. Let’s give these entitled t0ss3rs a whupping. Just like we did on 18th January 1983. Who will step forward as a latter day Graham Roberts?

Good grief Warminster can you imagine the W*nk over Frank headlines if Spurs had beaten PSG. Still leading 2-0 with only 5 minutes to play Thomas has kept them Spursy.

I was there that night and the previous Saturday at Burden when Bolton took us apart, who would have predicted that result

Indeed, Ballcock. And we sacked Frank Casper on the morning of the tie, I seem to recall.

Wasn't it Brian Miller who got sacked Warmy ? I was at Bolton that Saturday, no wonder Brian got sacked, we were shocking.
