Ana Kasparian's message to Israelis has millions reacting. Some call it the truth. Others call it antisemitism. Nobody's ignoring it.Originally posted by Swissclaret View PostWith the possible exception of Qatar and Tunisia, the countries that you list have one element in common - they are all home to terrorist organisations who regularly send missiles to bomb, kill and maim people in Israel. Iran in particular must be your favourite as it expressly wants to destroy Israel and her people.
I am not quite sure how you reach a conclusion that I am an example of “right wing elitism and its white supremacy ideology” apart from an inability to debate, thereby falling on labels. Still, why spoil a good story with the facts!
Ana Kasparian, host of The Young Turks, delivered a sharp rebuke to Israel in a video that has gone viral. Addressing Israelis directly, she said they are "hated internationally" and accused the country of acting "like absolute demons" while claiming to be God's chosen people. She said her criticism was not about religion but about the killing of civilians.
The controversy escalated when Kasparian posted on X that Israel is "evil, genocidal, and has destroyed our country." When critics called her antisemitic, she responded with profanity and the word "goyim," then pinned a follow-up refusing to apologize. She insisted her criticism targets Zionism and Israeli policy, not Judaism, naming Jewish-American commentators she respects.
Jewish advocacy groups, including the ADL, condemned her language as antisemitic under the IHRA definition. Supporters defended her right to criticize Israeli government actions. Kasparian, who is of Armenian descent, has not retracted any of her statements.

"The Pentagon has made detailed preparations for deploying US ground forces into Iran. Senior military commanders have submitted specific requests. Calling for the 82nd Airborne Division, Global Response Force, and Marine Expeditionary Units. Planning includes "where to detain Iranian soldiers if boots hit the ground."
Trump said Thursday “I’m not putting troops anywhere” then immediately added “If I were, I certainly wouldn’t tell you.” Shroedingers Donald.
So let's talk geography. Iran is 1,648,000 square kilometres. It is roughly five times the size of Iraq, the country that broke the American military for twenty years, cost $2 trillion, and ended today with NATO's entire contingency forces evacuating. Iran has a population of 90 million, a mountain range that runs the entire length of its western border... the Zagros rising to 4,000 metres, a second range across the north — the Alborz and a central plateau ringed by desert. The terrain was specifically designed by geography to destroy conventional land invasions. Ask every empire that tried.
The US has already spent roughly $1 billion per day on this war. Hegseth and Trump are begging Congress for $200 billion in emergency funding. The administration previously floated a worse case 4-6 week timeline. It’s day 21. Wave 69 from Iran, the Strait is still locked to the West. The USS Ford is in Crete with a "laundry fire" as pretext for retreating to safe waters. And they’re now planning a ground invasion of the largest, most mountainous, most heavily armed nation in the Middle East.
Vietnam was 331,000 square kilometres and no nuclear neighbours. Afghanistan was 652,000 and they lost after 19 years and 4 trillion dollars. Iraq was 438,000 and it never ended. Iran is 1.6 million with Russia to the north, China as its primary trading partner, and a population that just watched America bomb their schools and hospitals for three weeks.
But sure....The 82nd Airborne. That’ll do it.
“No, I’m not putting troops anywhere.” Right, Donald. Very strongly said. Tremendous denial. The best denial. Nobody denies like this president… Nobody."

This is exactly how it happened:-Originally posted by sinkov View PostThey try to avoid civilian casualties if at all possible, I don't know how this happened, but the fact that the IRGC previously occupied the building could have some relevance.
The deliberate murder of civilians is a war crime. The United States is committing war crimes in Iran.
Trumps Secretary of War Hegseth is directly responsible.

The guy's a fantasist, I studied photos of the aftermath of the strike, including one that showed an arm sticking out of the rubble. He says the type of missile used would incinerate everyone in the vicinity, There was no sign of any fire, never mind a serious one, in any of the photos taken not long after the strike. And I do have some idea of what a burnt out building looks like, I've pulled enough bodies out of them.Originally posted by ClaretinBudapest View Post

Another right wing Christian lunatic alive and kicking in the Ribble Valley eh mon ami?
We are living in a reality show.
"The Evil Orange Emperor of the New World Order just gave ERIKA KIRK a seat overseeing the Air Force Academy and told us straight up it was about Christianity, the Constitution's ban on religious tests apparently doesn't apply anymore.
Erika Kirk, now CEO of Turning Point USA following Charlie Kirk's assassination last September, was tapped by Trump to fill the seat her husband held on the Air Force Academy's Board of Visitors, the body that oversees curriculum, discipline, and officer development at the institution that commissions roughly half of the Air Force's new officers each year.
The White House spokesperson said Trump made "the perfect choice," citing Charlie Kirk's "bold Christian faith, defense of the truth, and deep love of country" as if those were r?sum? qualifications. The Constitution explicitly bars religious tests for public office. The White House apparently didn't get the memo.
Her credentials: a political science degree from Arizona State, a Juris Master from Liberty University, and a reportedly ongoing doctorate in Biblical Studies — also from Liberty. Her career path ran through beauty pageants, faith-based speaking circuits, and nonprofit political advocacy. Not exactly the profile of someone equipped to evaluate combat aviation training standards.
And the timing is not accidental. December 2025 meeting minutes show academy leadership briefing the board on progress dismantling DEI initiatives and auditing curriculum and facilities for compliance with Trump's executive orders. Four separate task forces have been stood up to enforce the "Restoring America's Fighting Force" directive.
Critics aren't mincing words. Retired Lt. Col. Rachel Van Landingham, a USAFA graduate and former instructor, warned that Erika Kirk's direct ties to Hegseth's ideological network could turn what's normally an advisory body into a back channel straight to the Secretary of Defense — bypassing normal oversight entirely.
When Kirk was up for an honorary degree from the academy last fall, "several hundred" USAFA graduates and family members objected — and the academy pulled the vote before it happened.
The graduates who bled for this institution don't want this. The White House installed her anyway.
This isn't about honoring a widow. It's about converting the officer corps into a Christian nationalist vanguard — one board seat at a time."
The lunatics really have control of the asylum.

Of course the Pentagon is making plans for a ground invasion, they're fighting a war and they make plans for all eventualities, and that's what the Pentagon does, it is essentially a Planning Department, it would be remiss of them not to have plans for a ground invasion.
But what they won't be doing is trying to take over the whole country, it's my understanding that any ground invasion would be centred on securing the coastal strip of Hormozgan province, overlooking the straits. I would think Kharg Island wouldn't be on the menu either, not until they can get one of their carriers through the straits and up there anyway.

SCOTT RITTER is a former US Marine Corps Intelligence Officer whose service over a 20-plus-year career included tours of duty in the former Soviet Union implementing arms control agreements, serving on the staff of US Gen. Norman Schwarzkopf during the Gulf War and later as a Chief Weapons Inspector with the UN in Iraq from 1991-98.Originally posted by sinkov View PostThe guy's a fantasist, I studied photos of the aftermath of the strike, including one that showed an arm sticking out of the rubble. I think it is safe to say he knows exactly what he is talking about especially with missiles and the middle east.
I have just watched another video on Telegram of them double tapping civilian buildings in Tehran-a woman filmed her own death when she went to help her neighbour. They know exactly what they are doing and rely on people like yourself to dismiss the truth as some sort of conspiracy.
They bombed a RT film crew in Lebanon who were clearly wearing PRESS clothes and bombed them live on camera but I suppose that was all just propaganda. His shrapnel wounds beg to differ.I mean we cannot have journalists reporting on the atrocities.

Ritter is a fantasist and a disgrace, his account is pure fiction, he hasn't a fecking clue what happened, how could he have, he wasn't there, he wasn't party to any decisions that were made, he's making it up as he goes along.
"Now this cruise missile has a special warhead on it....you see there's fuel on board this cruise missile....there's a lot of unused fuel....you could turn this cruise missile into a fuel air explosive...you could take the unused fuel and vaporise it and create a thermobaric type explosion that would basically kill anyone within it's radius, burn them to death...it did the thermobaric effect which generated a giant fireball incinerating everybody in the target.....A thermal warhead that burned 170 children to death."
https://www.nbcnews.com/world/iran/i...ade-rcna262685
Look at the footage and photos from NBC, the missile hits, smoke but no fireball, the two photos at the bottom show a couple of collapsed beams with some charring, no other evidence of a fire at all and no smoke damage in sight. Ritter is a ****, and a dangerous one at that. Not even TDS is an excuse for slop like this.
