  • Can we do it a third time?

We are obviously going to kick off the new season back in the Championship.

Can we come straight back up for a third time?

    Not with Cardy BT.

I hope not, I hate the Premier league and all it entails with a passion ..

We could, but I reckon it's more likely we go straight through to D1.

The last time wolves and Burnley were bottom that?s what happend - someone at the club has to break the Parker spell he?s cast and realise what?s happening before then though surely.

Guys, Parker did it once, can he do it again?

He got lucky with the defence. There is zero evidence this season that he will get lucky again or that we will start trying to actually win games under Parker. The previous Championship season was skewed because of the defence we had.

This is a genuinely tough question because the fire sale is coming and we have no idea who will stay / or we want to stay in fact - and on top of that - the manger will be changing as well ( if he?s not the owners don?t deserve the support ).

So for me until I know what we are building our season on / around it?s the impossible question

One thing I do know is if the owners think Parker ball is the answer they aren?t watching what?s happening at the club - I accept we as Burnley fans can be fickle but
As long as I can remember it?s never been like this ( even in the doldrums 4 th division )

A clear out is required starting with the manager and his team - there is a toxic poison spreading in our club and it needs exorcising and double quick.

After watching the Rovers v Boro game last weekend I honestly think Parker could take us straight back up again, the standard of football was diabolical. Boro had all the possession and hadn't a clue how to break down Rovers, they literally couldn't string a pass together, and that shower are in the top 3

It's all about what happens in the summer with sales and recruitment. If we can hold onto a few of our decent players and bring a few top end championship players, we should finish somewhere near

I remember getting beat 1-0 at Sunderland and thought we would be lucky to stay up never mind go straight back up.

My fear is that ALK will use Clarets player sales money to prop us their Espanyol fiasco.

I suspect they'll need that money to prop up their Burnley fiasco, there was a ticking time bomb in the last accounts that most didn't notice and it's still ticking away. Be interesting to see what the next set of accounts says about it.

I?m seriously considering not BT my dads getting too old really as well , can?t do the real lack
                          Of ambition tbh.

When I think back to the games we wasted last time around Leeds - stoke where we?d have won the league although that would probably have made now?s situation worse.
