Personally I am hoping Bellamy gets the job,he is not a loser.Whether he is offered the job or turns it down I have no idea. However,
watching what we've got he must know there is a big job to do for whoever takes charge. It was embarrassing watching us play Leeds
    last night.

I have no idea really, but is it possible there was a clause in Parker's contract saying they could pot him for nowt if we went down. It would explain the timing, why they kept him on until relegation was a certainty

Still makes no sense insomuch he would in all probability have taken us straight back up.

I think Pace's decision was taken on the back of Burnley fans booing their own manager which is a new phenomenon for me.

Maybe it had something to do with watching Parkerball is akin to watching paint dry.

On a serious note CiB, apart from the catastrophic $hit ditched up in the mid 1980s, this is the worse sesson I have endured as a spectator on Turf Moor for almost 70 years.

And I still think a decent manager would have got a tune out of this lot:

Even with the usual wheeling and dealing, surely, we will have enough left to get out of the Championship next season.
I realise a lot of these players will not be with us next season but even so…

            Goalkeepers:
            Max Weiss.
            Defenders:
            Kyle Walker.
            Alex Tuanzebe.
            Lucas Pires.
            Bashir Humphreys.
            Shurandy Sambo.
            Jordan Beyer.
            Joe Worrall
            Maxime Esteve.
            Connor Roberts.
            Quilindschy Hartman.
            Oliver Sonne.
            Hjalmar Ekdal.
            Owen Dodgson.
            Midfielders:
            Josh Cullen.
            Hannibal Mejbri.
            Josh Laurent.
            Lesley Ugochukwu.
            Florentino Luis.
            Wide players:
            Jaidon Anthony.
            Marcus Edwards.
            Luca Koleosho.
            Aaron Ramsey.
            Jayden Banel.
            Enock Agyei.
            Oluwaseun Adewumi.
            Mike Tresor.
            Loum Tchaouna.
            Jacob Bruun Larsen.
            Forwards:
            Zian Flemming.
            Lyle Foster.
            Andreas Hountondji.
            Zeki Amdouni.
            Ashley Barnes.
            Armando Broja.

I remember the fans booing off Brian Laws after the Scunny defeat. They sacked him the day after.

A bit of a one-off was that though mon ami, Parker has been getting dog's abuse since November.

I know at least 50 people who are not renewing their season tickets for next season. Me included.

Parker got it easy from the fans at Burnley, if he had the same record at anyother club he would have got dogs abuse.

Villa got booed off yesterday at HT, you get little of that from our lot they just vote with their feet and desert the club, like you BT

I would have far more respect for our fan base if they were more vocal instead of dropping their heads and heading for the exits. We just make it to comfortable for our players and managers, with the Fishwick stand lot being a perfect example, they always go awol

I got my very first season ticket in 1960 ballcock and have never deserted the Clarets. This season I really do feel like the club are taking the pi$$ and I'm taking a well deserved rest. But never say never.

I automatically renewed BT but as I said I categorically would not have gone and cancelled it if Parker had stayed in charge.

I cannot remember a worse more boring attempt ( dare I call it football ) than this season my dad says it?s the worst negative football he?s ever seen on the turf and he?s 90 - literally used to cycle here and leave his bike outside when there were no houses surrounding the turf
That?s a lot of years and a lot of games - but Parker takes the accolades

Good on him army88, I wish I could share his resilience. I cannot possibly justify spending another couple of grand (Bank of Grandad pays for everything) on watching a rudderless ship.

Sinkov always had doubts about ALK and I always stuck up for them but where the pfHuck are they now?

I've had a quick peek at the latest accounts, it's eyewatering, we're almost getting to the re-arranging deck chairs on the Titanic stage imo. It's a few years now since Deloitte and Touche said 70% of turnover was about the reasonable max, any more than that and you were heading for Admin. In our last promotion season we spent 114% of turnover on wages, no wonder we got promoted, but if we don't get that back down we're well and truly fecked.

Sadly, I agree with you sinkov. I never liked the takeover when it took place, however, it was what a lot of fans wanted ---a change at the top to progress the club.
What ostensibly was a well run ship has indeed turned into the Titanic and the sinking feeling just will not go away because the debt continues to grow.
