He was so late going down for Leeds first goal it was untrue, and made a mess of the tap in from close range. He started off this season very well, but like the team, he?s gradually got worse. I know that most of the time, a goalkeeper is only as good as the defence in front of him,but last night, I felt he should have done better. Stick the youngster in between the sticks and let?s see what happens. It can?t be any worse ,can it. Last night, we made Leeds look like Bayern Munich, and better than they are. The fans who travelled over the Pennines, should have got a refund. They , like the armchair fans, deserve a lot better than last nights performance. It?s not the club we all know.

We should let Weiss have a go in the remaining games, we have nothing to lose.
Ekdal as the turning circle of the titanic, he is also slow at reading the game
Esteve is the most overrated CH by Burnley fans in the clubs history he is just so bloody weak and crap in the air. O'Shea IMHO was a far better player, who is strong in the air and poses a threat on set pieces into the box, with Esteve being no threat
We spent all that money on Broja when we could have got McBurnie on a free and saved ourselves a packet, on a player who would have put himself about and given us a threat on corners. I get he isn't premier league but what as Broja brought to the table, and I won't go down the Foster route

I don't like McBurnie, I don't rate him, never have, but 15 goals for Hull this season says I've got him wrong, you can't argue with that. As Mr B says, he's a far better proposition than the couple of planks we paid good money for, Foster and Broja.Originally posted by ballcock View Post

It?s so difficult to criticise tbh as I can?t work out Parker?s setup. ( even though we?ve watched them ).Originally posted by The Bedlington Terrier View Post100% agree malwayne.
No sense in not blooding Weiss.
Only Hannibal and Tchaouna looked like they actually gave a $hit.
Finally, how bad as an EPL centre-back pairing are Esteve & Ekdal?
Morecambe & Wise would be better, at least they were funny and these two are not.
With respect the centre backs are only part of the problem I don?t think it?s all the centre backs fault as the midfield in front is alive the place.
We need a manager who understands the game and can set us up to compete - I put from
Day on Parker is a nice fella unfortunately that doesn?t win you games in football.

The forwards I would say get over scrutinized and criticisedOriginally posted by ClaretinBudapest View PostAgreed on Ekdal, Esteve, Broja and Foster.Who is in charge of recruitment?
An interesting view would be actually how many chances were created for our forwards in open play - you see if they were missing 3-4-5 chances a game I?d agree completely but I bet if we check they would be limited to very little across 38 games.
Hence why Fleming has done incredibly well to score goals in a team that simply doesn?t make chances for him.

It does beg the question army, if Flemming can do it, why can't Foster and Broja ?Originally posted by army88 View PostThe forwards I would say get over scrutinized and criticised
