I don’t know if Jacko has applied for other roles, including taking over at Burnley. He may have and not been offered the job in favour of some ‘big name” who gets fired 6 months later.

All I know is the difference in how the team has performed with him in charge. On that basis, I rate him as a good option to consider.

Give the job to Jacko, he's the safest option, he's worked for Dyche, Kompany and Parker and they were all happy with him. The nearest thing to a certainty in the Championship is Parker, but it's going to be ABP for us next season. Jacko is my man.

Their are plenty available, it's up to us to poach them.
I quite like the Hearts manager he has had an excellent season in the SPL. Hopefully they will get the result they deserve today at Celtic Park
