  • Our Next Manager......

I honestly believe our new manager will be from the list below. Given our past two appointments, we will want someone with some profile.

    Gerrard
    Bellamy
    Frank
    Robbie Keane
    Solksjaer
    Van Nistelrooy
    Cooper
    Postecoglu
    Rodgers

Despite what the bookie's are saying I just don't see Eustace or Barry-Murphy, they don't fit. Doesn't make sense.

You can forget McKenna, Lampard or Carrick. There already in jobs in the Premiership. Also I can't see Dyche coming back .

I could also see someone like Van Persie also being in the mix, similar mould to Kompany. Fits the profile.

I don't think much is going too happen until the World Cup starts. Anybody who is anybody will be in America in a few weeks, perfect opportunity to have 'covert' discussions shall we say. Our reps will be there too you can guarantee.

Like sinkov said this morning, Pace needs to open his wallet and ask Jacko what it will take for him to have a 2 year contract?

I listened to him post match last night, he talks proper footy talk. I like Jacko and he knows all the players.

I could be wrong of course. But I just don't see it, doesn't fit the profile.

He had no ambition to be a manager otherwise he?d have had a go before - some people don?t like that poison chalice.

        From your list cornerholme

I?d have a go with Frank firstly solskjaer and Robbie keen although I do like cooper and his way of football yet he never seems to get the backing he requires - he might be a decent fit actually if he came.

As long as he doesn?t play Parker ball.

Why a two year contract? One year would do just fine

Why? His job should be to take us into the PL. Why would we make sure he would be able to take us up and then back down again as we did with Parker? We knew Parkers track record. His job should have been to get us into PL then we should have signed a better one imo. It costs loads to hire the wrong manager when most of the time they don?t get to run out their contract.
