Hi alf, what a game the first State of Origin has been this morning.

Sport at its best in a real mixture of weather which ended in torrential rain.
This was the best comeback in any of the Origin games and was fantastic to watch.
No football these days comes anywhere near keeping you on the edge of your seat.

More than likely. To save any argument it is the series of three rugby league games played between the states of New South Wales and Brisbane and has been played sine 1982. The cream of Australian Rugby League take part and it is always an extremely hard fought competition. Not your thing mein freund aber es ist immer erste classe fur mich.

Ignore them Ashy,yes,what a fantastic game it was.They have to be the best three game series in any sport. Looking forward to the next two.

Challenge cup final on Saturday Warriors will have to be at their best to beat Hull KR. Should be another cracking game.

The Rugby Football League administer the Rugby Football League Challenge Cup, which is the oldest cup competition in both forms of rugby. It is open to all clubs down to Tier 5 and, similar to the FA Cup, it has preliminary qualifying rounds prior to Championship and Super League coming into the competition. This means that the competition starts earlier than the Super League starts and consequently the final is always scheduled for May.
This means that the clubs can then concentrate of the nitty gritty of their League competitions.
The Super League also has the Magic Weekend which is taking place at Everton early in July and this all builds up to the Grand Final of the Super League in October. This all ensures that those of us that follow the sport are kept happy during the summer months after the disappointments endured during the winter months.

Of course, in addition, there is always cricket to watch when the weather permits.
