Many questions to be answered here.
Will this game shape our season ?
Will Parker pick his strongest 11
Will we play the new signings or will we continue to be shot shy and hope we can scrape a win.

For me as stupid as it sounds I think it could shape our season if we can get points on the board it will feel better and we won’t be rooted to the bottom.

I think he has to play the strongest starting line up including the new signings - Sunderland are coming to win no doubt about that so we’d better be ready and up for it or the cloud of doom could be hanging over Turf moor early doors this season.

I appreciate it’s a marathon not a sprint but where do we all stand.

I think it largely depends on the team selection Army.
Same team as last time out BFC 0 Sundeerland 2
Strongest team with new signings and less cautious approach BFC 1 Sunderland 4.
Either way a loss for me.We ragged it last season against them at the Turf with a stronger starting eleven for us and a weaker strating eleven for them.

Based off Parker's approach last season, he will not rush people into the squad, and we may well start very slowly and gradually improve a bit. I'm not expecting miracles against Sunderland, but it will be a hammer blow if we get beaten.

Starting line up for me, based on not rushing injured players back:

          Dubravka
          Walker Ekdal Esteve Hartman
          Edwards Hanibal Cullen Ugo Antony
          Foster

4-5-1 with flexibility to be 4-3-3 at times

We should at some point see Loum, and Broja, and perhaps Axel too in what may be a strong 11 to finish the game.

Side note: Get Foster some more support and give him quality ball he will score. Last week he got none of the former and was chasing lost causes but still did well. A chance to silence some of his many critics. Just putting some thoughts out.

Should Parker elect to start with Ekdal and Foster I think my season ticket may well be heading for the bin.

How the hell did Ekdal get back in our starting eleven for a Prem season when he was not deemed good enough for the Championship. It is a joke.

Parker can't play his strongest 11 because they aren't fit.

No game in August defines a season. Like Army says its a marathon not a sprint, but a win tomorrow would be great for confidence and get us off to one of our best ever Premier league starts

Instead of Ekdal, who would you play given what we know about fitness?

Tuezama and Humphries back in training and Bocha could be involved tomorrow.

Good news at last. Both Bashir and Tuezama can play CH

It would be a dam site easier if we signed Barnes and Smiths. I don't no the names of half the players, especially the new Italian lad and the fella from Ipswich

Think what it's like for the Burnley shirt name printers in the club shop.

OK I got it wrong, Larsen for Edwards to start.

Could it be Spurs are 'Franking' their form, maybe our result not too bad retrospectively?
