Always thought he'd end up back here, but I never thought we'd have Kyle Walker.

Not much in it imo, possibly Walker for his extra bit of pace.Originally posted by The Bedlington Terrier View Post
At their prime, who would be the better of the two at right back for Burnley & England.
I always thought Tripps suffered having to play under Gareth, who had little interest in utilising his outstanding crossing ability and even played him at left-back FFS.

Two ways to look at it for me DaveOriginally posted by wmdave_b View PostTripps had/has a magic wand of a right foot nullified by Southgate. Walker doesn’t offer much going forward and should have been the square peg at left back. Never understood that tbh.
Who?s going to play up front for us that would benefit from trips services / delivery.
If we had a Charlie Austin I may think differently!!
Walker was nullified by Parker?s negative rubbish under a different manager I reckon walker the better bet - so much as I loved Tripps wolves can have him.

Sorry Army, I meant Tripps should have been right back for England and Walker at LB. With Kane up front, made sense to me.Originally posted by army88 View PostTwo ways to look at it for me Dave
