I was wearing my Iranian General's tin hat mon ami to try and understand how we could attack Israel. Unless we attempt to nuke Tel Aviv I don't see how we could get anywhere near to attacking the Jews in Palestine.

I thought about a land invasion via Syria but gave up and asked the wife what we were having for tea.

Israel is as safe as houses and that's why they can steal land and kill and rape the Palestinians with total impunity.

Whereas Hamas are not safe as houses, not that they have many left, but it does not deter them from killing and raping Jews at every opportunity, so it is perfectly sensible and logical for the IDF to attempt to eliminate them as a force in Gaza. It is not the fault of the IDF that the terrorist scum use the innocent citizens of Gaza as human shields.

I read yesterday the IDF ground troopers use Palestinians as human shields. Whatever happened to the "Rules of Engagement"? It's a horrific state of affairs and the Yanks have just sanctioned another $20 billions worth of armament sales to Israel.

Who was it who once said, "Peace in our lifetime?"

"An Israeli military strike in Gaza killed a set of newborn twins along with their mother and grandmother just as the father was registering their births at a local government office.

Mohammed Abu al-Qumsan was getting birth registration certificates made for the twins – a boy, Asser, and a girl, Ayssel – when his neighbours called to inform him that his house in Deir al-Balah had been bombed by the Israelis."

Maybe they did, maybe they didn't, truth is the first casualty of war and the Hamas propaganda machine works overtime providing guff for their useful idiots to agonize over.

Same reports more or less across every media outlet mon ami and even the Israeli media claims the IDF have now killed 40,000 plus Palestrina although they can't say how many Hamas members are in that mix

It's not really a war though is it sinkov? Murdering and starving to death a captive audience who have nowhere else to go is murder plain & simple.

It's reckoned there are about 30,000 Hamas members holed up in Gaza, Israel claims it has killed 10,000, so more than 30,000 innocent civilians at least are deemed as collateral damage. sad innit?

BBC Verify examines the evidence on combatant deaths, as concern grows about the scale of civilian killing.

After ten months of deadly IDF assaults, air strikes, sniper fire, ground invasions, sea invasions, and the use of a yellow submarine at least 20,000 Hamas operatives are still alive and kicking. They really are $hit at playing at soldiers the IDF aren't they? I must concede however, they are fairly decent at killing women & kids and dry bumming male Palestinian prisoners.

Whatever anyone wants to call it, it is a tragedy.

Whilst the left/woke brigade would not call it war, how else would one describe the actions of Hamas/ Palestinians in October 2023 as anything other than a declaration of war against the state of Israel. A small incursion? Freedom fighters trying to liberate their country - not that justifies murder, rape and other atrocities?

In any war, one side can surrender. Hamas could surrender to save its own people from further slaughter. Hamas could agree to a ceasefire and talks to try to resolve the problem. Hamas leaders could come out from behind their own people and give themselves up for the greater good of their people.

They have done none of the above so horribly, the war goes on with the resultant casualties.

Hamas has its part to play in bringing this tragedy to an end. So far they have done nothing to end peacefully what they so aggressively started.

Seems very much like a war to me mon ami. A war which the terrorist scum are getting ever closer to losing. Their huge stockpile of weaponry and ammunition is starting to run low, and the IDF is ensuring that nothing more is getting through to them. It's just a matter of time.

The IDF for all of their technology had no idea about the extent of the Hamas tunnelling, nor did they know about the October 7th attack. I would not be at all surprised if Hamas have an underground stockpile of weapons and cache of ammo. One of the US military's top brass this week said he thinks it "unlikely" the Jews can beat Hamas in Gaza, meanwhile the "Duck Shoot in a Barrel" of murdering Palestinian Arabs, journalists and hospital staff goes on unabated.
