There was a telling piece in the report on the latest Hezbollah rocket and missile attacks yesterday, the citizens of Tel Aviv were instructed to be ready to go to one of the 240 shelters available in the city. In Gaza the terrorist scum hide in their underground tunnels, whilst above ground there is not one single shelter available for the civilians of Gaza to hide in. Could you explain why Hamas does not provide shelters for innocent women and children ?

There is not a single space in Gaza for the 2.5 million civilians to seek sanctuary from the IDF. If they hid in tunnels the IDF ground troops would just kill them. They go in supposed safe havens but the IDF still butcher them and I must remind you infants and 7 year-old-kids are not at war with Netanyahu, it's Hamas.

The example I mentioned is not Biblical but Islamic. Contempt for Jews is baked into Islamic culture and has been since beginning. I'll mention examples. The Jewish tribes were the targets of number of ghazw, or plundering expeditions, that the Prophet conducted in order to gain property and slaves to redistribute among the growing Muslim community. Two of the Prophet's wives or concubines were Jewish women taken as slaves after the Prophet ordered the death of their husbands. The first was Rayhana bint Zayd. She was a member by marriage of a Jewish tribe, the Banu Qurayza. In 627, the Prophet ordered the extermination of the Banu Qurayza. He ordered the men and boys above the age of puberty--600 to 900 Jews by different estimates--brought out to the marketplace at Medina in small groups and beheaded before his eyes. The women and children were enslaved. The Prophet took Rayhana as his concubine after her husband's execution.

The second was Safiyya bint Huyayy, whom the Prophet took after the infamous expedition against the Jewish oases of Khaibar in 628. Safiyya's husband was the treasurer of the Banu Nadir, one of the main Jewish tribes at Khaibar. The Prophet ordered his execution (after torturing him with fire, according to the version in Ibn Ishaq, an early source--a later hadith says only that the Prophet ordered him killed). In any case, the Prophet took the dead Jew's wife, Safiyya, as his own wife. She is remembered by Muslims as among the Prophet's official wives, the "Mothers of the Believers."

There is a chant that you have heard on the streets of the UK without understanding, unless you speak Arabic. It goes:

Sawfa Ya'ud.

There is a reason Hamas quotes the hadith predicting that the Muslims will exterminate the Jews. From an Islamic perspective, Jews have done the unforgiveable: A despised people whom God caused the Muslims to conquer, the Jews now presume to live independently of Muslim authority and even boss over Muslims within the Dar al-Islam--the domain of Islamic rule that by dogma must aways expand and never contract. Hamas's website describes Palestine as the inalienable "waqf" (permanently held in trust) for the Muslim umma.

This has nothing to do with conditions in Gaza. Palestinians started killing Jews in 1919-1920, when a few thousand immigrated into a country with a total population less than a million, to settle on vacant land they purchased from Arab landlords. The violence escalated from there. Look up the Hebron Massacre of 1929, where Muslims surrounded an isolated community of Jews and tore them limb from limb.
