Can't be bothered arguing against such warped non-logic. Netanyahu has just slaughtered 50,000 unharmed Palestinians, levelled Gaza into the dirt, is conducting a mass starvation policy and unless you are either blind or stupid and not seen that he has just announced a mass emigration policy that will expel all Palestinians from their homeland. Wake up.

Since when did logic have a place in war? ----all is fair in love and war!Originally posted by The Bedlington Terrier View PostCan't be bothered arguing against such warped non-logic. You are correct about the war mon ami, there is no war in Gaza, there is an impeccably observed ceasefire. Despite my explaining it to you one more than one occasion, you still appear to have no comprehension of what genocide actually is. Ignorance is bliss presumably ?Originally posted by The Bedlington Terrier View PostIt's not war in Gaza mein freund, it's one-sided unadulterated genocide.

Given that you have a limited audience BT, most of whom are on here for the footie, why do you persevere in banging your political drum when it's not going to change anything. P!ssing against the wind springs to mind, or perhaps warped non logical perseverance. On a brighter note the weather is improving.

I'm a hard left wing Socialist k.c. Hating colonialism and imperialism goes with the territory. I believe in the right to resist when a lunatic like Netanyahu wants to forcibly expel 2.3 million people from their homeland so that Israel and the US can divvy up the Holy Land to make it a beach resort.

OK then mon ami, let's forget our difference of opinion on Gaza and consider some undisputable facts from the good old US of A instead.Originally posted by The Bedlington Terrier View PostI've just had a really good holiday mon ami and I refuse to let you spoil my rested demeanour.
"Washington: The number of migrants crossing the U.S. southern border illegally in President Trump's first full month in office plunged to a level not seen in at least 25 years, according to preliminary government data obtained by CBS News.
Last month, Border Patrol recorded about 8,450 apprehensions of migrants who crossed into the country unlawfully between official entry points along the U.S.-Mexico border, the statistics show. On some days during a record spike in illegal crossings under the Biden administration, Border Patrol recorded more than 8,000 apprehensions in a single day."
From 8,000 illegals a day under Biden to 8,000 a month under Trump. Making America Great Again, as promised.
God bless America.

Trump is the master of massaging numbers mon ami. I believe not one jot that comes out of the US right now. Fact checkers show caution is now necessary in the extreme.Originally posted by sinkov View PostOK then mon ami, let's forget our difference of opinion on Gaza and consider some undisputable facts from the good old US of A instead.

If you trust 'fact checkers' mon ami, you are seriously naive. I do not trust a word from any organisation that claims to employ 'fact-checkers', especially the BBC. Who fact-checks the fact-checkers ?Originally posted by The Bedlington Terrier View PostTrump is the master of massaging numbers mon ami. I believe not one jot that comes out of the US right now. As for the reduction in illegals crossing the border, if you search YouTube you'll see videos from Lefty news organisations that have sent reporters down to fact check, and prove that Trump is lying. They are dismayed at having to report back that the border area is virtually deserted, there is nothing and no one to see.
Someone asked the Donald if he is getting tired of winning, 'No', he said.

Trump said he inherited an "economic catastrophe" from Biden.
This is misleading. The US economy was growing at an annual rate of 2.3% in the final quarter of 2024 under the previous administration. It expanded by 2.8% over 2024 as a whole according to official US statistics., external
The International Monetary Fund estimates, external that the US growth rate in 2024 was faster than any other nation in the G7.
Just saying.
