Sitting in a deck chair ,but not needed here, when there is sunshine 7-8 or more months of the year.
Israel experiences plentiful sunshine, with cities like Tel Aviv averaging around 300 sunny days a year and enjoying long daylight hours in the summer. While sunshine is abundant, daylight hours and sun intensity vary seasonally, with more sunlight and longer days in the summer and less in the winter, typical for the Northern Hemisphere.

The White House is backing a plan that would see Tony Blair head a temporary administration of the Gaza Strip – initially without the direct involvement of the Palestinian Authority (PA), according to Israeli media reports.
Under the proposal, Blair would lead a body called the Gaza International Transitional Authority (Gita) that would have a mandate to be Gaza’s “supreme political and legal authority” for as long as five years.
I am not sure whether it will be Trump’s so called Board of Peace or the GITA that will have overall authority but they could have found the perfect git to run the latter. I was never a fan of the smarmy Blair and he made a fatal error when he became Bush’s poodle. Trump may have found the ideal candidate to do his bidding.

Once a poodle to the USA and will jump at the opportunity to become a poodle once again, particularly when he will be rewarded with megabucks for coming to heel. How corrupt is politics?Originally posted by outwoodclaret View PostThe White House is backing a plan that would see Tony Blair head a temporary administration of the Gaza Strip ? initially without the direct involvement of the Palestinian Authority (PA), according to Israeli media reports.

And then suddenly the Libdems and Labour have fallen in love with the Union Flag and the St George. Hypocrites the two of them imo because the Libdems really love that blue flag with the shiny gold stars and Labour have been busy for months shouting down our flags as the symbols of racism. How much credence can we give to their rapid conversion?

It's all political point scoring -----or losing-----depending whether you are right or left. Personally, they can all get on with it because they are only interested in one thing -----how much money, gifts or whatever else they can get out of being in politics. It really does stink.Originally posted by outwoodclaret View PostAnd then suddenly the Libdems and Labour have fallen in love with the Union Flag and the St George. I can't get over the old gimmer in the orange hat, as the police tell people to get back because he has a bomb, this daft bugger just stands there looking on and has to be pulled away by someone else, who is risking their life by going back for him. The silly old fart should be sectioned for his own safety.

It certainly has coalesced with the hate mobs spewing through the streets of London yesterday. No word from Sir Keir or the Mayor of London?Originally posted by The Bedlington Terrier View PostHow many times did I have to say if the IDF keep on murdering innocent civilians in Gaza that their actions would coalesce on the streets of Britain?

No excuses for the actions of the murderous scum who we welcomed to our country with open arms, the likes of who we provide care and a lifetime of benefits.Originally posted by The Bedlington Terrier View PostHow many times did I have to say if the IDF keep on murdering innocent civilians in Gaza that their actions would coalesce on the streets of Britain?
These people need deporting forthwith back to their 3rd world sh!t holes, they don't deserve the benefits of a civilised country.
And for those who support and encourage them by marching on our streets waving their Palestinian flags, no matter what their race or colour can join them; as they are no better and don't deserve a place in our societyLast edited by ballcock; 03-10-2025, 01:45 PM.

The perpetrator who was born in Britain was summarily executed by the GMP without a trial or due process. I have no idea if it?s true or not but it?s being reported here in Spain the GMP killed one of the stabbed victims. Would it be fair to say the rule of law has gone down the crapper?Originally posted by ballcock View PostNo excuses for the actions of the murderous scum who we welcomed to our country with open arms, the likes of who we provide care and a lifetime of benefits.

They finished him off quite efficiently, if it had been up to me I'd have put half a dozen bullets in his legs then let him bleed to death. Slowly.Originally posted by The Bedlington Terrier View PostThe perpetrator who was born in Britain was summarily executed by the GMP without a trial or due process.
Incidentally, he was born in Syria mon ami.
