Lots of Brits who have connection flights home via the middle east are now stranded out in Goa, and are having to pay extortionate prices for direct flights to London from Mumbai. Fortunately we booked on a direct flight with Tui Manchester/ Goa return, so have no issues.

The resort is now very quite with the hotel running around 25% occupancy. The beach gets quiter every day, along with the shacks and restaurants. Locals saying that there is around 3 weeks supply of LPG left which they cook with

This place shuts in 4 weeks time when the rainy season kicks in and the migrant workers go home. Lots of Nepalese work the bars and restaurants here, and when the season ends at the end of April (rainy season May-October) they all head home for the treckin season and then back out in the autumn
