My good friend Mike, or Altobelli to many of you has finally been laid to rest. He had a good send off and he had a scarf of his beloved Burnley FC draped over his coffin.

Both Lazart and I attended the funeral, along with many of his friends and family.

We will all miss you my friend!

Yes. Many thanks OTR. I never met Alto in person but I got a good sense through this board of the high regard he was held in not just by fellow Clarets but fans from other clubs who knew him. RIP Alto.

Thanks OTR,I too never met Alto in person, but had plans to meet up with him in Weeley the next I was down there. Sadly that won't happen now until I meet him in the Clarets corner up there in heaven.
