  • Here's one for you BT, you could have told this one at the Labour Party Conference before the anti-semites took over.

Two Jewish musicians on the Titanic. The ship hits the iceberg and starts to sink. As the ship begins to slide under the waves, one of them starts to cry. The other one says, 'What are you crying for, it's not your boat'.

Just before the boat sunk mon ami, the pair managed to read this, grabbed a life jacket each and changed their ways...

        • We stand on the brink of war in Europe, with the Red Army massed on the borders of Ukraine, but who cares about that, infantile cartoons are what occupies the minds of the self-righteous left this morning.

@OfficialPaliPro, Jesus fecking wept, beam me up Scotty.

          • We are Russia's Fifth Column mon ami - well according to a whack job Tory MP this morning we are!

If Macron paid as much attention to the Israelis treatment of the Palestinians as he does about a few Russian tank manoeuvres in the Crimea, peace would come to the Middle East in a f*cking heartbeat mon ami.

If Putin does send a few tanks into Ukraine will the Germans get their panzers out of cold storage?

            • There is no peace coming to the Middle East BT, not in my lifetime, not in your lifetime, not in our children's lifetime. While the destruction of the state of Israel and the elimination of all Jews remains the stated aim of so many Islamist states and terrorist organisations, Israel faces a battle for it's survival. Israel realises this fact and acts accordingly, as indeed it would be very foolish not to.

In the meantime, @OfficialPaliPro and their ilk, such as your good self mon ami, howl at the moon. Keep on howling.

Israel wants the best of both worlds mon ami, it wants to operate an apartheid state and reap the benefits of tourism and the protection of the US political and military umbrella.

Life does not work out like that.

He states quite simply Russia is our enemy. Is it ? In what respect is Russia our enemy ? Does Russia threaten to invade us, does it flood us with thousands of illegal immigrants every year as France does, does it threaten to turn off the electricity supply to the Channel Islands as France has, does it try to destroy our fishing industry as France does, does it play silly buggers with the NI Ireland protocol as France does, does it cause delays at Channel ports through deliberately obstructive bureaucracy, as France does, does Russia actively seek to destroy our financial services industry as France does ?

If Dale thinks Russia is our enemy, then WTF is France ?

I'm with Jezza and Diane on this, they are right, and Dale is talking out of his arse.

Apparently it does - look at Israel for example.

I think BT's premise is correct, you cannot have all three, and as Israel reaps massive benefits from tourism and protection from the US, spot the odd one out.

                            • Come on sinkov, you have to admit that Russia has weapons of Mass Destruction, surely that is enough reason for us to invade Russia ---or does it not work like that? Political agendas take a lot of understanding ----I gave up trying year ago!

The US sends Israel over $3 billion per annum of military and economic aid on top of diplomatic support precisely to maintain the status quo - it is the will of America to keep a foothold in the area. Supplement that with a vibrant tourist industry and Israel has the military might and finances to do exactly what they are doing for pretty much as long as they want to.
So yes, you can have all three - in fact they are mutually dependent in this scenario.
