It will not go away BT, while there are Jews, there will always be anti-semitism, and there will always be anti-semites. One of the most alarming developments recently was the mass exodus of Labour Party members when Starmer attempted to cleanse the party of anti-semitism. When the proven anti-semite Jeremy Corbyn got the boot, out they all marched with him, claiming as one, we are not anti-semitic, merely anti-zionist.Originally posted by The Bedlington Terrier View PostIt's hard to justify why Israeli occupation forces brutally assaulted the Palestinian young man with Down's syndrome, Mohammed Al-Ajloni, in Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood in the occupied Jerusalem. No wonder anti-Semitism will not go away...

Starmer used the "anti-Semitic ticket" to root out the left wing of the Labour Party mon ami.
The eejit actually believes he can win a General Election on a Blair styled ticket.
He never knew it was the left wing activists who did all of the fundraising and campaigning work.
He will find that out when the next Election comes.

I'm pretty sure you are being your usual obtuse self sinkov. The concentration camp we call Gaza, the walls on the West Bank and the forced evictions on the East Bank; the continuing and escalating violence perpetrated on Palestinian women and kids all riles me to an anger unparalleled since I learned about the Holocaust.Originally posted by sinkov View PostI have no problem with them BT and they don't cause me any problems. BT :
''The US sends Israel over $3 billion per annum of military and economic aid on top of diplomatic support precisely to maintain the status quo - it is the will of America to keep a foothold in the area.''
I can not say what exactly happens with this aid , but I am sure the US receives something back. Israeli planes are flying constantly over Syria. They are flying against and over Russian radar systems. The US is not in any confrontation, Israel is. That knowledge is fed back to the US. Any further imformation and Israeli 'know how' or any electronic systems that help the pilot ,all what's happening is fed back to the US and maybe NATO?
“A close defence relationship with the US and an energetic domestic defence industry give Israel a qualitative edge over all of the region’s other militaries,”
“Israel has space assets, advanced fighter jets, hi-tech armed drones and nuclear weapons. Its air force has incredibly high entry and training standards.”
In that photo the Border police are holding Mohammed Al-Ajloni, they are not beating him. But Arabs from that neighbourhood are trying to take him ,that causes him to fear, to be startled of all that's happening, you wrote, ''It's hard to justify why Israeli occupation forces brutally assaulted the Palestinian young man ''
assault:
''a sudden, violent attack; onslaught: '' Come on BT, you will be saying they painted his face red next? Well who can guess what you will describe next?
and ''brutally assaulted ??''

BT: I keep reading ,''their land '' that is the land belonging to the Palestinians. So whose Land is it ? Lets go back some 70 years ? no maybe 100 years, what about 500 years or even 1000 years we can still better that about 2000 -3000 years ! but where can we find about this claim to land? Why its all in the Bible! What about any document so old in Arabic?
Well in Genesis 21. v14
And Abraham arose up early in the morning, and took bread and a bottle of water, and gave it unto Hagar, putting it on her shoulder, and the child, and sent her away; and she departed, and strayed in the wilderness of Beer-sheba. Wow Beersheva .
So what history of this land can you show me of Palestine some 2000 years ago ,simple it did not exist.
Take the year about 33 AD .who sold J C to the Romans? Judas Iscariot? What is this his real name?? No! Judas Iscariot means in hebrew ,(not in Arabic ) Judas A Jew, ( Is =Ish = man) cariot = Krayot(suberbs), He is described in the Hebrew Old Testement as as 'The Jew from the Suberbs'.
Then J C was born in Bethlehem ( Beit =House Leham = Bread = Bethlehem = The house of Bread, all in Hebrew. No Arabic so where is Palestine ?It did not exist.....''their land''???
The name Judea is a Greek and Roman adaptation of the name "Judah", which originally encompassed the territory of the Israelite tribe of that name and later of the ancient Kingdom of Judah. ... Judea was sometimes used as the name for the entire region, including parts beyond the river Jordan.

Let us look for the word Palestine in Google
answer
The word Palestine derives from Philistia, the name given by Greek writers to the land of the Philistines, who in the 12th century bce occupied a small pocket of land on the southern coast, between modern Tel Aviv–Yafo and Gaza.
When these sea traders (Philistines ) entered the country of Judah, the Jews called them the 'invaders= The verb in Hebrew (invade) is formed by the letters P L S, ( פ ל ש) Hebrew is written from right to left. These people where called the invaders ( 'Plistim'), they did not know where they came from, but simply 'invaders' . We know today, from the area of the Aegean sea. We know this from pottery etc found in their settlements. In Israeli newspapers today we can read, רוסיה פולשת which means ' Russia invades', The same verb invades = P L S
Palestine is written in Hebrew , פלשתינה again the same P L S (פ ל ש)
If we take google as a fact, ' the word Palestine derives from Philistia, the name given by Greek writers to the land of the Philistines,
How can it be THEIR land if they were invaders ??
