I don't think you're cherry picking Warmy, we've had some joy at Old Trafford, it's the old 'they're currently ****e, this is a good time to play them routine' that worries me, never works in practice.

I predicted 3 goals in the Spurs game and there were. 2 goals in the Sunderland game and there were. Both times I got the result and score wrong. I predicted 5 goals in this match and regrettably I was spot on with everything. Absolutely gutted we lost this game in the manner we did. VAR has it in for us and Lyle Foster in particular. I do not think he is offside and the officials line drawing is asinine. I take note the penalty awarded to United in the first half was overruled. That was about the only big call in our favour.

The worst decision for me was the award of a free kick which led to the first goal. Walker won the ball which then bounced of their player and should have been a Burnley goal kick. They take the free kick from a position yards off the goal line, it should have been on the goal line, if the ref thought that an offence had been committed. It was not even a foul, except in the modern game if you go in to win the ball you can expect to be penalised.
Thank goodness there is plenty more sport to watch than football these days. The professional game is totally dead to me. Sterile has been my description of it for years and now my namesake has agreed.

Have you thought about going down a few leagues to watch a game,I don't mean League Two but further down the pyramid than that,below the National League infact,I sometimes go and watch Carlton Town and enjoy it,about a tenner to get in and the standard of football is surprisingly good,no big queues for the bogs or brews either

I'm happy with my start to the season and to share the top spot after three games,I think that you've made an error though sinkov as you forgot to include griff in the league....
