The Chelsea players strolling out of the tunnel to be individually announced to a half-empty stadium has taken football to almost unbelievable cringeworthy heights. Blatter and now Infantino have sold out football to a performing circus.

Please note in your diaries the upcoming fixture for June and July UEFA Nations League Finals, UEFA World Cup Qualifiers and then the FIFA Club World Cup. And then of course Manchester United arranged their own post season tour of Malaysia and Hong Kong. What really comes first- fixture burnout or fleecing fans for every last penny?
Spurs Chairman Daniel Levy is calling for the Premier League to be further pruned down to 18 teams as he says it is not in the interest of the big clubs to waste their time on playing teams like Bournemouth when they should be playing more lucrative games in expanded pre season and post season tours. Surely the interests of your overseas fans and sponsors should be given priority over domestic club games. Why stop at 18 though?

Creating a Super League comes to mind, just a different approach.
