But looking at some videos of Florentino Lu?s, he loves those sliding tackles, often from behind. He?s good at getting the ball, but to me it looks like he will pick up quite a few cards.

They play in different positions. Florintino is a big powerful holding midfielder. Ramsey an attacking midfielder who would only get cameo rolls at best

Parker’s problem that to find a formation - but for me as I said earlier posts - central midfield has caused issues for us against the better sides - wether that’s our set up or personnel or both is Scott’s domain.

What I will say is he obviously recognised we had an issue / weakness in the middle of the park so went and got what I would call an enforcer a no nonsense physical competitive strong boy to make us compete.

If I’m honest I think Josh is pretty pleased he was given the captains armband at this point - I alluded before to a 4-5-1 and I think especially against better teams well set up that way ( just my opinion ).

Parker has some big decisions to make now as Broja is a very competent forward and will want to play and of course as you rightly recognise someone has to miss out now for luis to start in the 5 - frustratingly Hannibal and Anthony need the extra man to be more dominant in games.

                    Over to you Scott.

I feel that Parker is trying to emulate Crystal Palace.
Palace have big strong physical types all over the pitch, this is exactly what you need at this level to compete with the big spenders

Our only weakness now are possibly Anthony and Hannibal who are lightweights; these 2 along with the likes of Flemming will need to be on it every match or they will get blown away. I guess the same applies to a few more in our squad.

Ah ahh - he always had that in him BT but had a bad run that’s all - I think he’s a tireless worker for the team but it doesn’t help him sometimes ie he’ll peel of the centre back and make a 50yard run out wide into a channel to try and get us the ball but if nothing comes of it and we don’t work the keeper he’s poor because he’s not in the middle to score.

I still like him and I think if he can improve a bit more he’ll be a big asset and we’ll make money on him when he goes.

Reality is if I wasn’t for the comedy that is Var he’d have 3 goals now - funny old game isn’t it.

The very dubious offside decision robbed him of a really good goal. It was never offside.

According to the stats Luis is 'only' 6ft tall. Well maybe, but he looks taller than that to me on YouTube. Or are there a lot of short-arses playing in Portugal ?
