It will be interesting to see how Luis slots into the midfield but the signings we have made appear to give Scotty the chance to play many more variations apart from the standard 4-4-2. Broja is going to be another key player. If we can get him fully fit and scoring then I think we are in business. Foster has already shown an eye from goal and would have had more but for the vagaries of VAR. Will we see Foster and Broja paired together in attack? Slightly concerned we have conceded 3 goals in both away games. Can we tighten up in defence and still keep creating enough chances? So far even with two defeats in our opening 3 games and Liverpool up next this is far more encouraging than the disastrous opening spell of games under Kompany.

Thought that one was all done and dusted, obviously not.

Loads of last minute hitches all over the place mon ami. Even Liverpool got caught out with the Palace deal.

It's almost a completely new defence from last season Sir Outwood. Give the lads chance to settle and with a defensive midfielder playing in front of them I reckon we will be fine.

It strikes me BT that Egan Riley was maybe a v good organiser I say that because Ekdal watches the ball a lot and I think for example UTD 2nd goal we had three defenders all running back but not one of them dropped with Mbwemu when he waited for the pull back.

So maybe Esteve is not as good a communicator and Riley used to do the talking etc.

                        Like you say we’ll see

Easy game next time out anyway 😂😂😂

Potential Liverpool line-up vs Burnley: Alisson; Szoboszlai, Konate, Van Dijk, Kerkez; Gravenberch, Mac Allister; Salah, Wirtz, Gakpo; Isak. Should be a breeze my mate.

Come on BT, it's 11 v 11 and their 11 only amounts to ?750 million plus well over ?200 million on the bench.
Their players won't be able to run because their wallets will be too heavy.

Konate's a liabilty as well, Lyle will suck him in and blow him out in bubbles. Not sure Kerkez is much better either.
