First 7 games are mainly tough, should at least beat Sunderland at home, possibly Forest?

Well kc you predicted on an earlier thread that it could be Spurs first up and it is though away at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. It’s so hard to predict how things will go when you can still be having your best players picked off in the transfer window even when the season is already under way. We will already have played Spurs, Sunderland and United before the window closes.

It will be interesting to see if Alan Pace learned from the last debacle when we had to endure a fire sale.

Another tough, tough start, hope we don’t get demoralised same last time in this league

I'm away for the Sunderland game which is a bugger as it's the only one we have a good chance of winning early doors. Bring on a shock win over liverpool.

It will be tough, and their will no doubt be a few of you slinging the toys out of the pram every now and then.

I believe that we have the right team in place this time to give it our best shot. Pace will have learnt from his crazy summer transfer activities, and in Parker we have a man far more suited to our club who will put our interest first

When I say team I mean management.

I think recruitment will be the key. We need someone to play alongside Esteve who is good defencivly and can weigh in with a few goals at set pieces, not particularly bothered if he is a hoofer. I think Brownhill will stay but we still need a strong central midfielder in the Berge mold.

As much as I like Roberts he hasn't the pace for this league, so I would be looking for a pacey full back with an engine

Striker and a right sided midfielder also required

Leeds, Sunderland and us are already the bookies favourites to go down.

I have a feeling they will be proved right.

We could do worse than Conor Coady, but we don't seem interested.

I think getting players in early to allow Cardy to fully prep them before the opening game is important but I doubt it will happen.

I hope that the PL money is used wisely for the future of the club. The most likely situation is that we will be relegated, so stick what we have got/ finance acquisitions out of sales.

I would rather support the club in League 2 than see us go out of business. VK demonstrated the folly of bringing in many unproven players at PL level and we all know the outcome of that.

If we can service the debt and avoid daft buys like Obafemi we should be OKAY in financial terms S.c.

I get the feeling that Parker wants to go the SD way and have two viable options for every position.

I would like the Brownhill situation to be resolved one way or the other and the futures of Delcroix, Massengo, Ekdal, Dodgson, Hountondji amongst others to all get sorted.

I hope Scotty has had some sort of a decent holiday break because the next six weeks are going to be very important in deciding the outcome of our return to the EPL.

Happens every year, presumably for cheap-skating purposes we play the first 3/4 league games with a weakened team.

We have Worrall and Keane is rumoured to be coming back. Beyer & Humphreys are both fit and raring to go. We don't need Coady, nowt wrong with the lad but we are covered in the centre-back department.
