I was really impressed with them last night, almost a perfect performance and it's a long time since we could say that.

Yes it was a good performance. The second goal ( scored by Madueke) was a thing of beauty. I have my doubts though that we can go to the USA/Canada/Mexico and win the tournament. I do not often read pieces in the Guardian but there is a brilliant piece by Barney Ronay on how Sir Kier Starmer has stormed to the top of England’s footballing charts. He has to excel at something doesn’t he?
