It's not that we lost the game sub, it's the manner in which we lost the game.

Exactly one of the only times this season they could express themselves and put on a attacking style, control the game, win possession... give the fans a break from the relentless defensive mentality we understand is needed.
but nope a back 5 with a second back 3 and hit and hope tactics, honestly up there with the worst combination of tactic and individual crap ive seen in years.

11 changes and the gamble failed dismally. Humphries and Tuanzebe both look fit and ready. The other positive for me was Mike Tresor looking good.

It was obvious from the minute we walked out of the tunnel we thought it was just a walk in the park by our PL superstars against a very well coached and drilled young Cardiff team who were out to gain a scalp and we gave it to them without a whimper. Our players looked totally disinterested for 70-75 minutes until Tresor and basher came on.
Tactically totally inept approach from Cardy also-laying back and inviting a laegue 1 team to come on to us instead of having a real go.Cardiff did the business and very well I must say.
On that performance we will be seeing them again soon at the Turf in the Championship next season.Maybe we will take them a bit more seriously then.

I could not understand why Parker elected to have one acre of the pitch unmanned. It's called the midfield Scotty lad not "minefield", our players are allowed to go in with no danger of getting blown to bits.

We have been used to witnessing cup performances like that over the last 15 years, it was always the same under Dyche.

Broja and Flemming didn't break into a sweat, their effort certainly needs questioning. Hannibal looked like the only player that was interested along with Tressor when he came on, who was very much involved.

The coaching staff treated the game like a pre season friendly as the 11 changes suggest. I really would have like to have seen more commitment from the likes of Broja, Flemming and Edwards who at times didn't look arsed

At least we got to see Tresor who looked quality.

Be good to see Tresor earn his salary and make the first team squad. Absolutely no doubt the quality is there, hope the necessary fitness, attitude, and commitment is also there. Could be the cliche ‘like a new signing’
