We cannot get undone by one pass. We are $hite offensively and the stats prove it.

Parker’s EPL stats are worsening by the game.

Bad luck to lose Ekdal at the last minute but we need to revert to 4-4-2 and play Florentine and Ugchukwa in the middle with Captain Cullen bossing it.

Front three is anybody’s guess, I noticed Anthony was getting the full treatment from the Villains and our Italian black chap lacks just about as much as Foster who is totally ruining my holiday.

I agree with an earlier post about Laurent, for me it's proving pointless as we are still conceding, and it is helping to stifle our attacks where we need more bodies. Foster or any of the other 2 are always going to have the same issue playing more of a midfield role tracking back too much.
I think we have some over reactions here, massively. We have had a really tough start, some slightly easier games to come and then we can have a balanced view, but not yet.
      At last a sensible post

The formation for me anyway isnt working and like it or not laurent is out of his depth at this level ( doesnt mean hes a bad footballer ).

The system ( Parker’s doing ) isnt working and we have two big strong boys

lesley and florentine ( they need to play together )

We need a win tbh but we ain’t getting it setting up like we have been doing we’re playing defensive with a 5 and still conceding goals

On Esteve a lot of way out of order comments on here - he had a shocker at city and it’s affected him but he’ll come back

I seem to remember Michael Richard’s quoted as I did Esteve is a rolls Royce and has a massive future in the game. ( he needs to shake of the bad performance ).

I also think Parker should pick his strongest 10 outfield players in a formation that gives us a chance to win games - you don’t need to be Einstein to work out if you don’t threaten the oppositions goal / shoot you won’t win many games

I am not Parker out, basically because I cant see any manager keeping this squad up. So its a huge waste of time. We need to Stick it out with Parker.
How ever, I do see him dieing on his sword really, We play very basic defensive tactic every single week home or away. 5 at the back with a close 4 in the middle 1 upfront, with Antony as the long ball/ attacking threat.

        - can you remember a attacking, cross or assist coming from the right wing? I struggle to even remember who plays there - The guy we resigned (looks rubbish every time)

Players, Fans, the board are understanding Parkers reason for this horrible defensive long ball tactic in a bid to survive... but we are not we are not picking up points, some say we have had hard games. I say every game is hard. atm we are not keeping up with Leeds and Sunderlands points and that is a issues.
Its a long season, but by Xmas the players will realise either this isnt working or we have a chance of staying up.

So far we've played five teams in the top half of the table and two in the bottom half, I'll wait until that evens up a bit before searching for the panic button.

No panic button for me mon ami, we are going back to the Championship, the only question is will it be before Easter or after it.

Quite looking forward to it actually BT.Proper games without VAR, without hype, without foreign mercenaries who could win Oscars for their injury feigning and more games to boot which the majority of we will win.Bring it on for me.
What we are watching at the moment is dire from Cardy and the team and there will be no quick fix. Then again, I seem to remember last season the beginning was very similar.

Perhaps the reason is because Leeds and Sunderland were given easier starts than us. Leeds got beat by Spurs at the weekend playing at home, right?

We have had 2 winnable home games, took 4 points. Nobody should have been expecting wins at home to Liverpool or any of the always. Hopefully the shackles Parker installed for this period can come off a bit now.

More support and better supply for Foster please. Get Tresor on the bench in place of Edward?s who isn?t trusted to play atm for some reason so pointless being there.

The players Parker has at his disposal now confirm to me, after that poor performance against a jaded looking Villa side, that we don't have the personal to play with 3 CHs.

I don't care how good a coach you are, you can't coach a system that doesn't suit the tools at your disposal. If Parker doesn't understand this then we have severe problems.

It’s all relevant anyway ballcock - if we play with 5 at the back we’re limiting chances created and if you dont / can’t take them when they come along yiubjust heap more presuure on yourself.

For me the midfield 3 has to include lesley - Florentino and Cullen or Hannibal

The wide men have to contribute more I actually thought that roberts in front of Walker might work ( Connor has a knack of finding spaces ) when he’s fit and back that is.

I know that everyone’s on fosters back but I honestly can’t see how you criticise him at the minute - he runs and chases lost causes to try and create space for other’s unselfishly ( I accept he’s doesn’t score enough but very little service for him in truth).

We need to firm up the defence partnership and be more adventurous against teams outside the top 6-8 or we’ll be cut adrift.

Next two games are absolutely critical for us Leeds and wolves minimum 4 points required

We need to see Broja I think he has the talent but it’s no good wrapped in cotton wool - we may as well try and benefit from him being here.

For me, the only truly creative player is Tr?sor from what has been seen of him. Yet he is never on the pitch.

Well Swiss besides Tresor, Edward’s can create and score too, potentially, will SP ever risk their defensive frailties even when we are chasing, not sure

Hopefully SP may feel that, with the difficult opening fixtures behind us, he may be able to be more attack minded. However he consistently bemoans the missed chances, of which there have been a few. Therein lies a real problem.
