  • Do you feel the futility?

Cambridge v Barnet. When honest competition becomes a business. The eternal grind, Cambridge v Barnet, in the 60s 70s 80s, etc, all of it leading absolutely nowhere.

When the possibilty of ascension, getting to the top, glory, becomes a sacrifice to money over fairness, whats the point?

Cambridge v Feynoord in the european cup will never happen, because United will need to own a country, or its rulers.

Div 1 is a step to far.

If you worked for a company with no hope of progress, what would you do? When you support a club that is going NOWHERE what do you do? give up, Arsenal and Tottenham are full.

Even big clubs have no chance, clubs like Tottenham, Sheffield Wednesday, Everton, the list is endless.

What satisfaction is there in Cambridge beating Barnet?, one group of not talented cart horses against another, and paid a fortune to show it......by normal standards a fortune.

You know what you can do with that. The eternal futility goes on, because United or Barnet will never reach nirvana.

The possibility should be there. It isnt. Without the possibilty all becomes futile. Even if United win div 4, who would give a flying wotsit, i wont, everyone that doesnt buy a match ticket wont, and the perception of united fans that anyone would is wrong.

The sense of achievement, pleasure has been trumped, because in reality its fourth prize, if that.

Prize no 1 wont happen ever.

Its Liverpool v Man City forever......yawn. The same old sorrowfull procession of routine, whether its united v barnet or the former. Tip tapping the ball around.......for gods sake.
Working...
