  • Rovers 0 Cambridge 2 Match Report.

Rovers exibited their failings against a Cambridge team, that even to their fans was a slap.

Not a shot on goal, that the Cambridge keeper, a man famous for his lack of talent had nothing to do, that even a shot on target would have tested him, even if it was 5mph, from 30 yards.

Impotent is the word, possesion for no end result, mindless, boring, inneffectual, pointless, not able to learn, to change.

Rovers were everything you would normally expect from a Cambridge team, that even their low, almost invisible standards were above the Rovers.

The Cambridge players hardly broke into a run, and still won, they didnt run because they didnt care, and to prove the point, Loft came on and scored, he was to good for the Rovers back line.

When Eastwood singed, , it showed the desperation of clubs like Cambridge, signing players that are demonstrable failures, in every game. Except this one because Rovers were even worse than Cambridge. Inadequacy is shot through the entire team, and in Eastwoods case it does show some ability.

An ability to persuade drongoes to sign him, even in the face of disasters, that takes courage.

The Cambridge manager and coaches were dressed in a United uniform, and it made them look like muppets, like schoolchildren dressed by mother.

That individualism is verboten, a step in the direction of big brother, of suffocating orders, of being told what to do, the hallmark of hell.

Football is that, a limited resource governed by rigid rules, showing little or no entertainment of any sort.

Governed by money, ayatollahs like Barry, an entertainment thats a spit in the face, sucking the financial lifeblood from everyone for a pittance on the pitch.

Just look at Gibbons, how did he make it as a pro, or any of them. On the list of qualities they possess, talent , passing, control, shooting, heading, positional sense, etc those things come last to running and strength.

The league game at Rovers will be different, Rovers will win.

Despite the name of Cambridge, the United learning curve is absent, look at the history of this pile.

Rovers will be different, United will be trashed as usual.....when it counts.
