I watched Funny Cow last night which I would describe as a modern version of a kitchen sink drama about a female comedian doing the rounds of Yorkshire working mens clubs, loads of familiar faces in it,it caught my eye because it had Richard Hawley doing the music,it's a bittersweet comedy which struck a chord with me for some reason, anyone else seen it?

          Kes is on tonight ☹️

Saw George Costigan pop up in The Power of Parker with Sian Gibson who was in the brilliant Car Share with Peter Kaye

Fantastic acting from George Costigan who plays Bob, how he can play the part of being a pae do and come away from it from looking like a loveable rogue deserved a BAFTA.

I read that when he went to the premiere his wife was sat one side of him and his mother on the other and it was one of the most uncomfortable incidents that he could recall.

When he asked his mam what she thought of the film she said "I thought that it was really good, although I wont be recommending it to anybody".
I saw George Costigan in a programme about the Moors Murders last night on Netflix called See No Evil,he played the copper investigating the murders and was a good watch, plenty of other familiar faces in there including the two coppers and landlord from Early Doors
