Last Monday (1st September) I had product recall from Amazon about a mini fridge that I bought four years ago and sent it to them on the same day via Royal Mail 48hour tracked delivery with signature at the other end,that was ten days ago and all the tracking says is it's at there hub where it's been since Tuesday (2nd September) I'm presuming that they've lost it so can I get my postage back which was 9.60,the amount isn't the issue just the principal of the thing,as the fridge is four years old I doubt that I would get a refund on that but it irks me that they've not done the job that I paid for

If it was a product recall it’s should be fixed and returned to you, or replaced. If nothing happens they’ve basically nicked your fridge. I’d chase it.

Not sure how it works as I've been retired 7 years but I would go to the post office you sent it from and would assume they have claim forms.

The item was a product recall due to it being a possible fire hazzard and would be given a full refund

I tried claiming online,went through all of their hoop jumping and then right at the end it bloody well logged me out just as I was proving that I was human,I then retried and it wouldn't accept Amazon's email address as being valid even though they did the first time

Tbh I'm past caring now but thanks for the repues

Sorry I thought you meant Amazon’s hub. Aye, get a new fridge on the Post Office/Royal mail, can’t keep up on which is which.

Aye sorry griff, looking back I can see the confusion ,I got a product recall from Amazon giving a full refund,went to the post office on the 1st and using their tracking app it says that it's been in the Royal Mail hub since the 2nd,proper pissed me off when it cut me off right at the end so they can ram it,life's too short to worry about a tenner and a four year old mini fridge

Try ringing Royal Mail Customer Services, they are very helpful 😎
