I can remember from when it all flared up with him but if it isnt piglet and sonicboom isn't really causing any mischief then why not let him post and let him have his say,up to now he hasn't really posted anything that warrants a ban imo but going from past experiences he usually digs his own grave anyway

Im calling a NO on this for now. On one hand the issues with GDPR and OSA compliance are a heavy burden. On the other hand there are loads of boards that are continuing quite nicely or newly springing up that just dont give a toss. Daft. This will be reviewed from time to time but, for now, DSG can take the slack.

About 90% of posters from Notts mad have moved from footymad onto a new site so I'm expecting it die a natural death at some point in the future,footymad have only themselves to blame as it's practically unusable over the past few months and even as I write this post I can barely see what I'm writing due to the adverts coming from each side,those who set up the new forum plus several ringleaders have all been banned so the bridges have been burnt and there is no going back now

100% agree regarding adverts & I've an ad blocker !! & forever logging me out after reading each post grrr

I also get logged out after reading each post paula and I have to limit how long a reply is otherwise it won't let me post it and log me out instead,also there's no pm function available now,not sure if it's just mine or not

The right move for now I think Griff. Good to see that I have helped you see the big gaps in your knowledge on the legal matters and how this opens you up to potential legal risks. But the good news is there is time to upskill your knowledge on these topics and also IT so you can get a new board up and running when footymad eventually goes under.
The other factor you need to address is the fact you want to make Kel a mod despite the fact he continually shows himselt to be a cretin. Ive seen him on the other board trying to get bites out of piglet who to his credit just cant be bothered with him despite the many attempts. Got to be the saddest man on the internet and unbeliavlbe that piglet still lives rent free in Kels head. Only a matter of time before Moonie bans him for trolling.
Do your self a massive favour and bin off your kel mod plan. He has been the death of this place dont let him be the death of the new one too.
