I agree. His knowledge of the English lower leagues jump to Scottish Prem should be invaluable. And don’t forget, in the NL the window doesn’t close. Recruitment of the right players at the right time is critical

I never understand this HR role tbh, do clubs not have scouts anymore and it is the Mangers decision or are the 3 of us that old were out of touch? ? asking for Chalky 😎

I think it’s to take pressure off the management team so the process can be managed according to set parameters and not left to chance. I get the point though, it hasn’t worked for us so far.
