Now over 1000 we are told. (And no-one's going to write about Burton tonight clearly - lucky to sell 100.)

I bow to your superior knowledge. It always used to be stated that Boundary Park was the highest. As you point out the Hawthorns is higher (by 25 feet).
However, it is still considered the coldest.

Well that was one of the worst 1st half game of football from both teams I have seen in a long time. Awful.
A stastic of interest , in that 47 minute half Crewe suceeded in giving the ball away 42 times, Makes you wonder wgat the heck they do at Reaseheath all week. Suggests to me lack of movement, and taking up tge correct position to receive the pass.

Unfortunately in the 2nd half our consistency dropped. We only gave the ball away 33 times, Could it be that we are not National League standard, more like Sunday League standard.

In our last 12 games from a possible 36 points we have gained the staggering total of 14 points. But even so most of Crewe supporters are quite happy with our current management.

Hells bells the silence on here is incredible. Even MikeSB has not posted.

The Alex seemed the better side despite relative parity in stats. The biggest problem was poor judgement and accuracy when it came to chances. Tezgel and Sanders should have scored and others were just wild with their attempts. Quite a disappointing outcome.
I have to raise questions about Holicek. He undoubtedly has good ball skills but rarely has an end product. Rarely scores, if at all and the same can be said of assists.

Just watched the whole game again, how we only came away with 1 point beats me. For a person with a nose for goal Tezgel, missed 2 open goals. 2 strikes (probably to clean straight into keepers arms. Then the strike that hit our own man, may have had a chance. Lunt's great header, too clean, against the post. On another day 4-1 or so. Sounded a good atmosphere and great away support. Again the subs, too late in the game to make another difference. Agree on Holicek, lost his mojo, since coming back. Sanders working his ass off, but cannot replicate every time moving forward his strike of a few weeks ago. Take the point, but 2 lost in my view.

I too have heard that Holicek is a talented ball player. but for some reason he is not competitive and chooses not to use his physically strength. I cannot understand why the management continue to select him. As I said after the Burton game presently Rankine llooks a far better prospect. I do hope that Holicek gets his act together.

One of the reasons this site is "quiet" could well be down to the site being ever more difficult to access. I composed a reply and when I tried to post it I was dumped out of it. The reason I don't post much is because I really can't be arsed. It's hard work and shouldn't be.

On yesterdays match, I watched it on tv and we should have won. They were a team coming in on the back of a few decent results as, of course, were we. To a man, our players were that bit better than theirs and if we played them again tomorrow we would beat them.
Am I satisfied with the management team? Yes, by and large. Could they be better? yes, probably but we should remember that like some of the players, they are learning as they go. And I think they get more right than they get wrong. It is a hell of a gamble to get rid when we are 8th in the league and bring someone in from outside with ni certainty of success and what a costly business that would be. It is a tight league and lose 5 on the trot we could be nearer the bottom than the top. Is that likely? No. Are we "likely" to go up? Mmm, not sure. It is certainly possible but maybe not likely. Who knows? But I will take where we are as a team but, more importantly, also as a team.

                          Sorry for the long post.

As I have said before, this site is not used by the majority of Crewe fans. Twitter, Crewe A Facebook and Crewe Alex chat are the active ones. In fact, the platform as a whole is sparsely used by other clubs. Most forums are independent.
The number of views I take with a serious pinch of salt. I don?t know how it?s recorded, but I just don?t believe it.
Unlike others, I have never had problems posting. I tend to use the ?reply with quote ? button.
I don?t post often as I hate the constant repetition and negativity.
Yes, we gave the ball away a lot, we are a L2 team. If (yes I know!) we had put away 2/3/4 of our chances, would L have posted that statistic?

Well done for getting it posted! This site is indeed really frustrating at times. I don't get dumped out but it often takes 3 goes to get a post lodged. I sometimes copy the text in case I am dumped out as it keeps asking if I want to leave the site. I agree, a far from perfect performance but as Lee Bell says we could and should havce won with it. As a reported on railwayman revoew says, maybe 99 times in 100 we would have done. At least we didn't concede as we would have done sometimes in the past when on top and unable to score.
