Anyone going? The premier kids are out of it now so there should be no point to not going. Having said which, I'm under the weather so don't feel like sitting on a cold plastic seat in the open air on a cold night in Crewe.
So, now that the competition is heading for the business end and the Alex have a whole week until they play again, will Bell strengthen the side he puts out. Or is he going to throw up the final chance of remaining in a cup competition and the additional revenue this might bring about? I expect we'll see the youngsters again. 2-0 loss.

We are still in the Cheshire Senior Cup. Not a lot, if any prize money, but a great chance to see the youngsters.

LB seems to be suggesting everyone will be fielding stronger sides in these knockout rounds, and at least implies he will too - but having regard to the injuries we have. I imagine that at least means he wouldn't risk Lankester and Mickey D till it counts more, but maybe some of the regular starters, but Waller in goal?

How about: Waller, Dancey (will Mingi play against his parent club?), Croker, erm ????, Finney; Armstrong, ???; March, Rankine, Moult, Moore.
Still a very weakened team for me. I would prefer someone strong in the midfield 2. Also Lunt in the 10 spot. Preferably I'd have a 2 up front formation. In fact I'd have a lot more first teamers but LB is too cautious for that.
March can be excused defensive duties after Saturday.

LB did mention "those who cannot play" which probably means Mingi.

Read LBs [re match comments/ It may be my imiiganation but I felt in general it was once again quite negative . I will be extreme;y disa[[oined if he does not select a team close to our regulat 1st team.

No reson not to as we have no games this weekend. I hope not but I expect a nefative defensive approach and low % possession.

I think in the match we're seeing the result of no investment on the midfield.

Peter Morse is talking about the possibility of Tezgel coming on. Hands up those who think that will happen? Thought not.

Only one decent midfielder and now he's taken off. Unbelievable!

Don't coaches work on penalties?? You always have to put power behind the ball. That way, even if the GK guesses right, the ball goes in before he gets there. March and Tezgel's efforts were pathetic.
