Can't see us getting any points from the next 3 games if Saturday is anything to go by. Until the Alex develop a creative midfield, nothing much will change. 2-0 defeat.

I suppose a bit late in the day to comment, just watched their goal go in around 54 mins and can?t help thinking how easy that was for them. I?m not sure why Pond isn?t starting because I think we?ve looked more solid with him, despite a couple of shaky moments over the weeks. We?re not out of this game by a long shot yet but we?ve made a game we should have pushed on to win from half time into an uphill struggle. Many have said it but for whatever reason we?ve lost something now the better players are coming back. I wonder it if affects the mentality of the people who know they will be benched. I don?t know. Hopefully resolved itself as they start playing by full matches and the pecking order returns to normal.

A point at least when I thought we didn't look like scoring. For most of the game Cheltenham looked the more accomplished team. The Alex seemed all over the place, leaving loads of space all over the pitch, seemingly never anywhere near the ball when it was loose. How come some of them cannot control the ball or make simple passes?
Hopefully Lankester will start ahead of Holicek for the next game as the former clearly has clarity of vision and purpose.
