    Incoming 26/27

    No, no news just a wish list.
    We need pace. Some wingers. A gifted midfielder. A right back. People who will shoot on sight and experienced cover for Demetriou. And it's not even Christmas.

    With Sanders leaving, we definitely need a midfield who can pick a pass and weigh in with a few goals. Sanders was very good but didn't score enough goals for me. If Billo signs the need for a right back lessens a little but we do need a good centre half. Although a year ago Croker arrived and was billed as one for the future. Maybe that future is now. I wonder if Rankine will come more tom prominence in the coming season.

      So is Gibson the much wanted target? He's been given 3 years plus an option, which is pretty long term for this level.

        To be fair to Sanders he played in front of defence not a position where you are going to score many goals, we did have another option there but LB let him go. I'm happy to give LB the benefit of the doubt he does normally manage to bring quality players in, Hutchinson, Marsh, Lankaster (when he's fit) and he gets decent loan players in O'Reilly, Tezgel, Pond, so we have to give him credit for that and hope he will repeat that performance. However we do have the makings of a decent team with the players we have but the midfield and centre half positions need strengthening although we do have options in those positions
