Where I am inclined to agree with you is that goalkeepers do get better with age. However, pretty much all the loan keepers we have had in the last few seasons have all been youngsters and they were, by and large were plenty good enough. And Booth needs to play to gain experience at this level.

TB is now the age Marschall was when he was so good last year - 21. I do think it was a shame they couldn't send him out on loan last season to gain experience in a lower league, as they'd hoped, but his early season injury put paid to that. He needs to be playing this season, and if he was from an academy higher up the league this is the level they'd have been looking to send him out to.
